Spike Island.

Let them eat nostalgia, as some cunt once said. It is the 30th (fuck me) anniversary of the ‘seminal’ gig at Spike Island. Now this has been described as ‘seismic’ and ‘the Woodstock for the E generation’ and other bollocks like that. But the truth is it was shit.

The venue was both nonsensical and crap. A bugger to get to and get out of. In the middle of the fucking Mersey and in the middle of a chemical plant. The air fucking stank for a start. The bogs and the catering were also substandard, overpriced and nowhere near adequate. The support acts were total shite. Some ‘DJ’ cunt called Frankie Bones and that tuneless gobshite, Gary Clail. If they thought it would create a ‘rave’ type atmosphere, they were wrong.

This shit went on for hours and the crowd got more and more pissed off. Then arriving ‘fashionably’ late were The Stone Roses. And they were crap on the day. The sound was total bollocks and they just couldn’t go toe to toe with a crowd of that size. It was badly organised, badly put on and the choice of venue was ridiculous.

It took them 22 years to realise that Heaton Park was ideal for such a gig, and that gig in 2012 was everything May 1990 should have been. It has been mythologised and its reputation enhanced over the years, but I was there and Spike Island was a load of cunt. I saw the band do some great gigs, but this was not one of them.

Anyway, Jihadi, Islamist are perjorative words that taint the ‘community’ apparently. And of course it isn’t as if the ‘community’ shield, protect or turn a blind eye to ‘faith-claimed terrorism’

Of course perish the thought that Saudi Arabia adheres to this type of behaviour, despite them funding Wahabbi imams world wide. Iran is similarly innocent in it’s own sectarian way.

There can be no suggestion that Muslim countries and Muslim adherents support and condone ‘faith claimed terrorism’. After all 9/11 was the Israelis wasn’t it?

I have a suggestion. Perhaps: ‘Muslims and converts with mental health issues operating out of non faith based cells that have nothing to do with religion funded by Israel’

Miss Swimsuit UK deserves a nomination after winner Jasmine Archer-Jones was stripped of the title after posting her opinion about Black Lives Matter on Facebook
She made a post last month about the wave of protests prompted by the death of the sweet innocent angel George Floyd.

She questioned if Mr Floyd was innocent and said “all lives matter”.

All trace of her winning the title last year has been removed from the pageant’s website.
A source said: “Jasmine has tried to sweep it under the carpet and continue on as if nothing has happened but organisers acted quickly to airbrush her from their history”.
Miss Swimsuit UK have apparently posted in support of the Black Lives Matter protest and “could not afford to be associated with her.”

Jasmine posted about the Black Lives Matter protesters, which said demonstrators had used Mr Floyd’s death as an “excuse to let loose” after lockdown. Well, fair point, although a more accurate comment would have been that they used it as an excuse to riot and loot, from black as well as white owned businesses.

Screenshots of her post said: “If you look deeply into statistics, more UNARMED WHITE people DIED than BLACK last year.”

She added: “There is video footage of him refusing to get out of his car, which warrants for the police officers to use whatever means necessary to restrain the person.
“He also SUPPOSEDLY had drugs in his system, but I doubt they will release the autopsy now… Oh and let’s not forget that George Floyd also has a criminal record dating back to the 90s.”

She finished the post by saying: “I DO NOT discriminate against any person. But THIS IS NOT OK.”

Miss Swimsuit UK posted a message in support of the Black Lives Matter movement last month.It said on Instagram: “When is the human race going to figure out once and for all that we are all the same. Love one another.”

Try telling that to the BLM hardcore members, you spineless, craven cunts.
