Yes folks, Chancellor Merkel leaves office (hoorah!), and the Germans seize the chance to re-live the ‘good old days, Mein Kameraden’.
I could hardly believe my eyes, as Sky and the BBC showed live coverage of ranks of German soldiers, clad in black, marched past ‘Der Fuhrer’, flaming torches held aloft – in a scene almost identical to the rows of brown shirts and SS that marched similarly past Hitler, when he was appointed Chancellor in 1933.
Does the Reich not see how genuinely disturbing and in poor taste this event was, given the covid clampdowns and Austria’s recent move to make injections ‘Mandatory’ (Germany soon to follow, I suspect).
Elderly holocaust survivors must have been watching in fear and dread from behind their sofas.
Unbelievable !
