Now that the Democunts have taken control of the Mad House over in the States, they started to spread their evil tentacles towards to the porn industry, declaring that they find it hugely offensive, outdated, sexist etc etc.
This follows news back in January whereby major credit card companies (Visa and Mastercard to name but two), have blocked all payments to adult website, Pornhub. Their excuse is that they believe the site contains child abuse, real-life rape and torture.
Inevitably the Left have now jumped on this and hope to take this a lot further with the porn industry as a whole, forcing sites to either close or face greater regulation.
The sex industry in the US is worth billions, some of it controlled by crime syndicates who entice women from overseas to come to America under false pretenses of proper jobs or acting careers in proper films/TV. But this isn’t the case, and in fact a large portion of duped women do end up in the sex industry earning only a tiny fraction of what their “owners” earn.
Perhaps this aspect needs to be investigated thoroughly. But the woke Left will want to shut the whole operation down due to the usual “offended” tropes that don’t sit well with Millennials and Gen Zs.
This has been exacerbated further by the recent murder of Sarah Everard and calls for greater protection of women against hostile male “predators”. Some so-called psychological-profile experts suggesting it’s all to do with men wanting to control women for sex by using dominance, fear and intimidation, which somehow all links back to porn and how the industry treats women as a mere “product”, to be dispensed with when finished.
Such tenuous evidence suggests the porn industry, according to the Left, should be investigated and subsequently closed down in order to protect women & children. Exactly how this will work I haven’t a clue, especially on a global scale, but to my mind will only reignite a black market industry via the Dark Web, which will probably generate more problems than an outright ban could ever achieve!
