That nom about ‘Wasps’ has got me thinking. I woud hate to be a wasp. Or any insect. Then it occurred to me there are millions upon millions of people who DO believe that we humans can turn into insects.
It is a central belief in Hinduism, Buddhism. If you don’t act well and ‘gain merit’ in this life you run the risk of being reincarnated into a lower form of life. You could end up as a cockroach!.
But I have nothing in common with a cockroach. I dont know about a cockroachy carry on. I am unfamiliar with cockroach culture. I know they live under fridges in Kebab shops but what is that to do with me?
Remember the belief is that you, yes you, dear Cunter are in the body of a cockroach. You still have the same consciousness, the same personality, your memories are the same. But you’re a cockroach now. It’s a horrible idea.

Kind of a trendy religion Buddhism isn’t it? The Western converts are usually a bit precious, a bit superior I find. There is one Cunter on here fits that bill perfectly. He wouldn’t ‘hurt a fly’. I might take the opportunity the next time he posts in that vein to challenge him–‘you wouldn’t hurt a fly; is that because you’re worried about turning into one?’.
Yes because that’s what’s never mentioned at dinner parties when Buddhism is discussed. Its all about ‘meditation’ and ’emptying your mind’. But reincarnation is just a central part of Buddhist belief as Hindu belief. A constant cycle of death and rebirth until you escape by reaching Nirvana.
You know we a have a ding dong on here about religion but I think we could all agree that this belief system is very strange.
Really for me Eastern religion is so alien to us in England.
To end controversially (as is my wont) but yes with our Christian heritage we are actually closer (in belief not culture) to Islam. They believe in one God. They believe when you die you either go to heaven or hell. They believe in a final judgement.
I prefer (just) that belief to those Eastern religions like Buddhism and Hinduism with reincarnation at they heart.
But of course Christianity is our natural home.

Wimmin, we must all be aware how badly the lockdown impacts women. All over the world women are locked down with the biggest threat to women…….MEN!

Domestic violence is a real problem, we all know that, none of us condone it. Thing is men as a whole are being demonised. Most relationships survive because the people involved have space away from home to breath. Stick at home tensions build, that’s no reason to beat the wife, but some men are locked down with nagging fish wives, constantly criticising, berating and making what was previously tolerable a living hell. Are we to be surprised some men snap, not to mention the men who are physically as well as mentally abused. No one is saying fuck all about the physical and mental health of men in this crises.

Individual men do bad things to women, but to use these hopefully exceptional circumstances to continue the feminazi war on the male gender in its entirety says so much about the women’s movement.

Some men are total cunts, so ladies are many of you. Daily I hear or see the media tell us how women are victims of the lockdown, some are indeed in increased danger during lockdown, but this is only part of the story.

I would like to cunt loud the street foreigners who feel the need to have conversations at fucking full volume.

I say this because earlier, it was the Chinks – even in their car – probably looking for stray dogs, then Nigerians unfiltered and now I’m home, I’m hearing the dozy Porto bint next door in the garden on her fucking phone, so loud she can be heard in Portugal without the fucking phone, and soon it will be the non-stop screaming Pakistani kids across the street.

So good being stuck in the house for the next few months….it is going to be fucking ace.

‘Found footage’ horror films, and too much crap in horror.

Back in the day when Blair Witch was made, handheld filming style films were virtually unknown. Now there are lots, like Cloverfield, and some people like them. These films are full off shaky, or out of focus, footage designed to make it seem like the average guy on the street wanted to record what is happening. These films usually come out pretty crap, and in the case of some (Cloverfield included, and Diary Of The Dead) we are meant to believe the action was ‘taped over’ something else, which is NOT done when the camera used is obviously digital. In these movies, as with a lot of other modern horror, there is too much importance placed on jump-scare tactics and overuse of unnecessary gore.

Horror films today just dont have the suspense, or the real ‘fear’ factor, of their older counterparts…especially true in remakes or american versions of foreign horror classics. Hollywood, I think its time you call it a day and let other people have a chance to make films that may be much better, especially in this particular genre! Oh, and *BOO!*
