Artificial Intelligence [2]

AI is a cunt for oh so many reasons, a few include the demise of humans needing to do anything so economy collapse is imminent.

Students “writing” essays purely by prompting AI to get it to write some pages of drivel for them.

The replacement of the graphic arts in the sense anyone can just type in what they want and it spits out a generic picture with the same fonts and telling signs AI was used.

But now we have this, a chap at Anthropic resigning and warning the world theres a 10 percent chance their company could wipe out all humanity rather fast.

The Grauniad.

We’ve all seen terminator, now it seems rather than entertainment it was a warning to stop and ask why rather than just doing.

  1. One thing I’ve never understood is that if there’s a worldwide jobs apocalypse because of AI, there’ll be no customers to buy the product.
Yes, the powers that be will probably have to introduce some sort of UBI, but would anyone trust any government not to fuck that up?
Our own government is full of willing traitors and cunts.
And even if UBI is somehow successfully introduced and everyone is on a miserable stipend, what then?
Hundreds of millions or billions out of work humans with nothing to lose will kill politicians, no matter how well protected they are.
Surely there’ll have to be a mass cull of humans? From the ‘elites’ point of view, that’d be advantageous.
Eugenecist cunts like Bill Gates’d kill us all without a second thought by cessation of fertiliser to cause mass starvation or probably ‘Covid 2 – Electric Boogaloo’.
A very good morning to one and all.

  2. I fear the genie is well and truly out of the bottle.

Neuralink have already implanted chips in brains to enable people to “talk” again. I don’t imagine thought control would be too far behind.

    • @jeezum…. thought you said implanted chimps with 🧠 … and wondered if the Notting hill fest would actually be civilised at last 😩…then realised even 2🧠🧠 couldn’t make that happen 🦍

  3. They called them The Dark Ages because after the fall of the Roman Empire, fuck all happened for centuries.

People sitting around achieving fuck all, worried about the end of the world.

    Now those times are back.

Instead of waking up in the morning and thinking that it’s another beautiful day in an amazing life, dullards just look for another reason why life is coming to an end.

Nuclear bombs, climate change, rising sea levels, wars and now fucking robots killing us all.

    All a load of bollocks.

    Good morning everyone!

  4. ” I did not join the resistance movment to kill people, to kill the nation,
    look at me now!”
    – Pol Pot

    You can’t trust robots.
    bloodthirsty little bastards.
They will start by taking your job
and it’ll end with them killing you in a smouldering wasteland.

    • Morning Odin, that’s going to be difficult for you, living in London, surely?
Unless you plan on selling up and moving to Wales or something.
Also, as you’re probably the only other person on ISAC with any Bitcoin, how long do you figure the fiat money system has left?
      2 years, I reckon.

    • Morning Odin, with the rise of energy prices in the U.K. and only able to sell one kidney and half a liver I’ll be off grid mid Oct by my reckoning

  5. So an AI agent ‘escaped’ into the real world and started hacking! Wow, what next? They’ll be climbing bridges to graffiti ‘ Give Peas A Chance’. Maybe they could run for parliament? But I guess they’d finally come to the conclusion that it would be better if we were all dead. Get those holidays booked while you still can!

    • Morning So Long, I used to drive under that bridge on the M25 regularly!
      Always made me smile.
On a similar bridge-related theme, does this early 90’s reference mean anything to you?:
      ‘M. Khan is bent’.

      • Just before the junction with the M40 Thomas, used to fly under it regularly myself.

My favourite bit of graffiti I ever saw was on a train to the west country. Went for a Jimmy in one of those bogs that used to just drop its load on the tracks when you flushed it. There was the mandatory sign next to the handle “Do not use in stations” underneath which someone had scrawled “except Taunton”

      • Ho ho, indeed, BD!
Newman and Baddiel sensibly jettisoning the other two losers who were probably cramping their style and trying to get sloppy thirds of their birds.
Obviously, Newman got the best birds first, Baddiel got sloppy seconds and Punt and Dennis only got the fat munters.

      • I used to walk past Hugh Dennis all the time when I worked in Highgate, he would stride up and down the hill on his way to Archway station with that gurning look on his face like he was modestly pretending to avoid the glare of publicity and just blend in with all the regular folk. He did a pretty good job of that given Highgate is full of cunts.

      • Bittersweet memory that come to think of it. I remember I was slipping a teenager a length at the time and I was 27. Her mate was chasing me for the same treatment and I declined because the quality of the conversation was so awful and I binned off both of them. I still wake up in a cold sweat wondering what the fuck I was thinking.

      • Console yourself with the assumption that she could’ve been like Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction…

  6. 🤖 taking over the world 🫩..when you look at a lot of people would it be a disaster really? …’wow your lips look amazing’…yeah I’ve just inflated them with another jab’💉 ‘coooool, put it on insta’ 😕

  7. I think we reached peak intelligence years ago. The overreaction to covid proved that, then the fentanyl george, black lives matter bollocks.

Now we have people coplaying at terrorists, in support of violent, murderous sand ŵogs.
Screaming in people’s faces who don’t agree with then..

I just hope AI and the machines give us a window to settle our scores before our ultimate demise..
    Six months should do it..

    “Come, come, come, nuclear bomb

  8. Of all the good reasons not to buy a modern motor car the connection they have to the internet is top of my list. People have already experienced finding the car disabled following an overnight software download which failed. Legislation is progressing through the EU now which requires all new cars to be accessible over the internet. Included is the collection of data about speed, acceleration and braking, lateral g, etc, which can be accessed by the police and insurance companies but not by the driver. A camera is to be fitted inside the car which tracks your eyes. If you take your eyes off the road initially a warning alarm will sound shortly followed by the car being stopped. To an external authority reducing your speed or acceleration is the simplest of tasks. People have already found themselves locked in the car due to faulty electronics or a software glitch. A malefactor could literally lock you in the car and initiate a fire in the enormous lithium battery. Note all this is here and available to the authorities NOW, not in some hypothetical future. I’m sticking with my fifteen-year – old Focus which only follows my commands.

    • I fear that my ’69 Cortina has been infected with AI, arfur.
The fucker didn’t want to start the other day.
Must be AI, nothing to do with it being ancient and tempremental.

  9. “I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time.
    Like tears in rain …
    Time to die.”

    Blade Runner, 1982.

  10. I like it,because it uses vast amounts of electricity and water, thus deeply upsetting the myriad of bedwetting cunts that fester in the West these days.

I read with amusement that the govts flagship data centre, the beating heart of the A.I project, won’t be opening in 2029,as it uses too much electricity for our creaking infrastructure to cope with.

So fear not, unlike the dinghy wógs,the A.I robots batteries will go flat long before they get to your front gate.

    Good morning.

      • I live right by the Fairford air base, UT…at least when it’s blown up, I’ll be killed quick and I won’t suffer radiation poisoning!

  11. The WI have called in a DI to investigate the theft of their Hi-Fi by an American GI.
The DI suspects their NI records were hacked using AI so he’s put CI5 on the case.

    YI man.

  12. Yet another bogeyman to scare the little people.
No doubt invented by people similar to those who tell us that Putin could invade Britain at any moment, whilst all the military evidence from Ukraine suggests otherwise.
The only real threat posed by AI is the government’s desire to control it.
And if it can control AI, sure as fuck they’ll use it to monitor and control us.
