Women Reclaiming Their Anger

“Music artist Chess Galea used to suppress any feelings of anger, fearing she would be branded as “hysterical” or “difficult to work with”.

From the “mental load” women carry to sexism in the workplace or – worse – violence against women, Galea says “we don’t realise how much we accept and how much we close our mouths”.

But now she says she simply lets it out: “If someone catcalls me in the street, I rage. I don’t care.”

Galea, 34, is one of an increasing number of women in the UK reporting feeling angrier than ever.”

Oh dear.

I’ve always thought a lot of women are mad but apparently my fault for being a man.

Very difficult territory,I must ask Mrs Terry what she thinks about repressed anger and the psychological effects of emotional suppression..

Just as soon as she’s finished hitting me over the head with “her” rolling pin.

Nominated by Unkle Terry.

  1. My guess is that looking like a homeless pikey who clothes herself at Oxfam, the bint in question makes a right song and dance on the one occasion she gets cat-called by a blind man on the street to claim membership of the attractive wimminz movement – rest assured love, you will have a quiet and unmolested life free from the male gaze.

    • wow.
      calm down luv, your hysterical.

      Chest Galea is angry?
      do some housework.
      bit of baking,
      she looks like a Apache
maybe put on some lippy and buy a new frock.

      Probably on the blob.
      adjust your attitude luv.

  2. The Town Councillor is getting too many skull fractures from the wife’s rolling pin every time he comes home to No 10 North from a night out in the Bindippers Inn.

So he’s told Gollum to take a penny off a jar of gherkins. Anything to help Frankie downat Heel cope with the housekeeping should placate her.

Hopefully Chesty will calm down too.

    The mad bitch.

  3. 🎶 artist ? never heard of this pretend squaw who says she flips out over anyone daring too cat call her on the settlement …it could be her ancestors doing a war dance ditty…hey a hey a hey a 🏹 heap big trouble if sky 🦅 doesn’t get his 🦬🥩….book an anger management session with chief 🐂💩 dearie

  4. I bet they are not angry about the Pakistani rape gangs though or third world savages being dumped next to schools and families or trans freaks in their bathrooms and sports? But what’s that against being catcalled or patronized at work?

  5. Puts me in mind of the old story about the plane that suddenly lost all four engines over the mid Atlantic.

The pilot solemnly informs the passengers that they were going to have to ditch in the ocean, the chances were not good.

Pandemonium and hysteria breaks out, and one particular young woman runs to the front of the plane and starts screaming.

“Oh god no, no! I’m too young to die, I’m a virgin! Please, while there’s still time, somebody make me feel like a woman!”

Geezer on the front row stands up, takes his shirt off and throws it at her.

    “There, fucking iron that!”

    • Years ago Dave, a 747 at 35,000′ over Alaska flew into an invisible plume of CO2 from a volcano. All the engines spooled down. I read the transcript of the communication with ATC;

“Pan-pan, pan-pan, pan-pan. This is KLM heavy, flight number***.”

“KLM heavy, what assistance do you require?”

“I need all the assistance you can give me sir. I have flame out on all four.”

The captain was a woman. No trace of panic in her voice and you could imagine her trimming for best glide during this conversation. They started enough engines to keep flying before they hit the deck so it never made the news.

These capable women really do it for me. Remember all the men who had a thing for Margaret Thatcher?

Incidentally, twin-engined planes are now permitted to fly the oceans as long as they remain within 330 minutes of an available diversion. If I was aircrew I wouldn’t feel very happy flying a single over the ocean for more than three hours. I’ve flown a single over the channel but there you don’t lose sight of land.

      • Do I remember all the men who had a thing for Margaret Thatcher? Yes arfur, I do.

Every one of them should have been given a prefrontal lobotomy, and if that cure failed, humanely euthanised.

      • As I’ve said before arfur, the pilot in question, and Lady T, did such magnificent work because they were thinking like men. I have no problem with women in positions of authority or great responsibility providing they fulfill this criteria.

By contrast, we have a government full of women thinking like demented women (as per the subject of the nom), and men thinking like women; and just look where that’s got us.

I am the father of a daughter who is excelling at school because she realises she’s got to accept life is shit and she needs to do it herself, not go whimpering off complaining about anxiety or her period or making up excuses for not doing the necessary because of her sexuality or her gender; this while her classmates are indulged in their self-pity, setting themselves up for a life of failure.

I have a lot of women working in my business who have been with us for years and who are solid and dependable (while scores of their sisters have failed to make the cut and been given the boot / flaked out). All of them doing well in life because they’ve learned to be tough, think critically, and show no mercy or sympathy for the weak minded and the self-pitying. As one of my female senior staff says, who is tough as old boots, “you gotta be able to take it on the chin and get on with it in this job, this is no place for wimps.”

I also defer all dealings with builders, contractors, suppliers, mechanics etc to my missus. She is from the north, takes no shit, never lets us be conned, stuns your average old school geezer with her no bullshit don’t fuck me around attitude. A lot of them don’t like it and fuck off as a result, but better that than me having to deal with them, as I’m easier to win over and I always broker a bad deal with cunts like that.

So don’t get me wrong, women are fucking brilliant when they want to be, they’ve just got to stop acting like women.

      • I think you’ve got the explanation there Dave. I’m sure that’s what attracted me to Mrs Brain, my wife of 52 years now. She once guided a guy across country for some miles to a customer’s office, she in a 3 litre Capri, him in a Jaguar. He had to work to stay with her and he told her she drove like a man.

      • I think the lass was the FO on that flight & managing the radio calls, Arfur. The Captain was a bloke. Either way, it was class teamwork & a testament to their CRM ✈️

      • You are right Gussy, I stand corrected. I well remember the event but the details went astray in my poor old memory.

      • Further thoughts Gussy, that flight was KLM. Maybe it’s something about Dutch women? First woman to fly an F16 was Manja Blok back in the nineties.

  6. They’re all a bit scary nowadays.
    I keep my distance.
If I like the look of one,I send in Russell Brand to score her on the mental chart first.

  7. Angry women 🥺

    probably a Palestine protester too.

I’m guessing chesty is always angry?
born moaner if ever I saw one.

    The original Angry Bird.

    who’s this anger directed at?
    white men.
Look you little cunt, we’ve moved on!
    drink some firewater,
    get back in your wigwam,
    and calm down chief.

  8. Wimminz anger?
Your emotions are of little concern to men.
They’ve got enough in their plates.
You shouldn’t worry your pretty little head about it, dear.
Why don’t you go and make me a nice cup of tea?
Or better still, go and get a job, rather than pretending to be a ‘musician’ whilst claiming benefits.
    Biatch!

    • If I could swap two ‘e’s for one ‘k’, her name’d be a perfect anagram of ‘Slack gash’.

      So close …

Middle initial ‘k’ by any chance, dear lord?

  9. I suspect Chess’s experience of ‘misogyny’ in the music business went something like this.
‘’As I’s got a record deal, innit?’
‘Well, you’re not quite what we’re looking for at the moment. Maybe go away and work on your material and come back and see us when you feel you’re ready’
‘You’s disrespectin’ me innit bruv. You’s raceest n sexeest n sheet. I’s gonna go to da BB fuckin’ C about you’s, mutha fucka!’

  10. I reckon she is angry cos she is shit at ironing, it should be genetic, all women are good at ironing but the odd ones who can’t do it feel cheated.

Never mind she can look forward to Afghan migrant rape month.

  11. My dear late Aunt Alice had no problem with repressing anger she didn’t. The dirty bastard who flashed her on her way home from work can vouch for that, Dad reckoned he had to have a plaster cast on his bollocks after Aunty Alice had done her bit. I was young and did not realise Dad was joking, so mightily impressed Who needs Wonder women when you’ve got an Aunty Alice. God bless her and keep her.

  12. I notice that the BBC article features predominantly foreign wimminz.
Chess’s origins seem somewhat dubious. Part dark key and part sand p1key.
Little wonder she’s got no anger control.
    Then there’s that chinky tart.
I bet she often gets the urge to slaughter the population of Manchuria.
And the one with the English sounding name looks suspiciously swarthy.
    Probably half Italian or Spanish.
Which means she waves her arms around a lot and smashes crockery if she’s asked how she is.
    So basically, all fucking nutters.
    Steer well clear fellas.

  13. I got a Blu-Ray from CEX once of a wanky Brit ‘art’ film once called The Other Side Of The Underneath, made in the early 70s. I like ‘alternative’ stuff and it was cheap enough so though OK let’s give this a go. The ‘synopsis’ if you were to believe all the establishment gushing over guff wank was that it was some empowering feminist ‘rage’ piece. On screen this basically meant a load of filthy-looking nude 70’s ‘feminists’ screaming and acting like mongs. The ‘director’ was some alcoholic lesbian who died a few years later. It wasn’t edifying.

  14. Being well brought up by a fantastic mother it becomes natural to treat women as equal and having three older sisters helped tremendously. It’s never occurred to me other than to treat all humans just the same. Woke late and read so much nonsense of misogynistic shite, I had to make my point clear that you must learn more about philogyny. I’m going to make myself a cup of tea and talk more later.

  15. Over the years I’ve had lot’s of women lovers and friends and it wasn’t a coincidence to find out that lots of ladies who were once married had became lesbian lovers because of the way they had been treated terribly by their once husbands.
