A sad hit for Shaun in the Deadpool this morning.Footballer Christian Atsu who played for Hatayspor in Turkey as well as previously playing for a range of Premier League clubs including Newcastle United where he received more than 100 caps.He was also signed for Chelsea but repeatedly loaned out.He also played internationally for his hone country Ghana achieving 65 caps and 10 goals.
Atsu was found dead in the rubble of his apartment in Turkey this morning following the Earthquake 12 days ago.He was just 31 and is survived by his wife and 3 young children.

Just a heads up to everyone. I am extremely busy over the next month so will be on the site far less frequently therefore the Dead Pool may not be updated as swiftly as it always is.If other admins want to take it over if they get time and see it needs doing that would be great. I will endeavour to upload a new pool within 24 hours of death announcements but this may well not be possible at times.
As usual if players could comment on the Deadpool thread when they see there is a hit that would be great especially if it isn`t an A list name as it flags it up to us that it needs doing at times.
I will still pop in but will get next to no free time for the next month or and I thought I would let you know now in case normal service on the Dead Pool slows right down.
Rest assured though more regular service will be resumed by myself sometime in late March at the latest.
