If proper sentences were dished out in the first place, perhaps we wouldn’t have to go through this charade.
They knew back in 2012, when he was convicted, that deportation was never a possibility, so why was there never a stipulation that he served the whole sentence?
He could have carked it in prison by then. Job done.
Nobody wants foreign vermin using up valuable prison space at our expense, but with no other alternative, I’m sure most of us would learn to live with the situation.
Alternatively, if we gave these cunts proper draconian sentences, but with the offer of early release dependent on self deportation and the surrendering of their British passport, would that not be an option?
