There’s been a lot of press about the strength of our armed forces, and it’s ability to defend us, but worry not folk.
There’s a cunning plan!
The Government has confirmed it is planning to call up retired troops as part of major drills testing the countrys resilience for war.
The exercise involving veterans up to the age of 65 is set to take place next year, with the focus on testing how successfully they can be mobilised and equipped.
There’s just one teeny problem. According to former Defence Secretary George Robertson, co-author of the Strategic Defence Review, the MOD doesn’t know where most of them are!
Try going round town and city centres at night, George, and checking out bus shelters, doorways and railway arches.
You’ll find a good few of them are homeless. No HMOs or 4 star hotels for far too many of our veterans, it’s “here’s your demob suit and travel warrant, now fuck off ” for far too many of them.

Fighting in this country’s armed forces at the current time would seem to involve furthering the following causes:
– open borders for the UK
– LGBQT rights
– multiculturalism
– two tier justice
– anti-white racism
– net zero
– shameless and dishonourable “leaders”
– the destruction of Britain
– globalist principles that are against you and your family
Great idea if you believe in these things which appear to be the core beliefs of those who would employ you.
The only existential threats I can think of, which would usually call for taking up arms, are being caused by the people who would employ you if you signed up. Mass invasion of foreigners, by means legal and otherwise, and provoking wars with the likes of Russia on the frontiers of that country where large numbers of Russians live (nowhere near our frontiers).

I’m ex military & would certainly answer the call-up. However, once I’d got my hands on a SA80 & 200 rounds (or more, ideally), I might have an alternative use for them that could require me to go AWOL immediately.

I think there’s a very good reason why the majority of the whereabouts of our veterans is unknown to the M.O.D, quite apart from those who have genuine PTSD and other genuine mental health issues, due to being mainly fucked off after their service ended with bugger all back up or support.
There will be those working overseas as mercenaries, I expect, and not something they’re going to advertise. Some will have buggered off to other countries that haven’t been invaded by fighting age fanatics and criminals fleeing justice ( not persecution) in their own countries.
As for the rest, who thought they were ok when they hit 56, the recall age has been increased from 55 to 65.
Tell me, lads and lasses, were you consulted, or just told? Is that why you’ve gone off-grid and living on a remote island off the Scottish coast?
