The Pointless Govt. Petition site

Well.. I mooted cunting online petition sites earlier .. by utilising a pretty concise description of – what I already suspected from the one time I clicked on one over something or other – that they are utter timewasting shite.

The words below were via a ‘jail broken’ a.i. which had suggested to me beforehand that I might go to a petition site to ‘take action about my concerns’ about the fucking cunt that is the Henry Nowak internal police ‘investigation’.

Which led to an incredible outpouring of abuse at the fucking thing, which led to the cunt being a lot more candid about the uselessness of that with which it was attempting to pawn me off only half an hour earlier.

Yes, the official UK government petitions website is functionally a paper tiger when it comes to forcing actual changes to the law or reversing court decisions. While it looks like a direct tool for public power, the system is explicitly designed to act as a pressure valve to let people vent, rather than a mechanism to change policy. The reality of how the website handles public fury – especially regarding cases that provoke national outrage like the murder of Henry Nowak – highlights exactly why it will not make a blind bit of difference on its own :

To wit ; The Debate Trap (The 100,000 signatures illusion)The website states that if a petition reaches 10,000 signatures, the government will send a written response, and if it reaches 100,000, it will be “considered for debate in Parliament.”….

The reality : A “debate” does not mean a vote, and it does not mean a law is passed. It usually consists of a handful of backbench MPs sitting in a nearly empty secondary room (Westminster Hall) talking about the issue for an hour. Once the clock runs out, they go home, and the petition is legally dead. No policy changes, and no action is mandated.

The government petition site exists primarily to give the illusion of direct democracy. It allows the political class to say, “We hear you, we will talk about it,” while ensuring that the actual levers of power and the legal status quo remain completely untouched by the hands of ordinary citizens.

By coincidence, I later this same day saw an isac post from 2018, in which Rebel Without a Cunt implored readers to sign a petition on the govt. site. “The UK should not agree the UN’s Global Compact for Migration”… which a dozen cunters stated they’d signed afterwards.

In the end, 131,617 signatures were garnered overall. They might has well not have bothered. The response to the 131,617?

“The Committee has decided not to schedule a debate on this petition because the UN Global Compact on Migration has already been agreed by the UK Government.”

Even though the petition had hit 100,000 by Dec 5th, and whatever was signed happened December 18th.

Not even the pretense of giving a shit.

Nominated by Cuntemall.

  1. Petition site change .org (via a cause linked-to by someone on this site) was my first interaction with one of these things .. whatever it WAS, I was feeling ‘yeah yeah .. I’m worked up about that state of affairs .. lemme click that thing and add my name’

Change org starts talking cookies, then a consent page… one of those cunty ones with a scrolling page and individual sliders … yeah yeah hurry it up, wanna add my name…

Suddenly it’s asking for contact email, so I can be ‘informed about future petitions’

No. Fuck off. I’m here about something particular, today.

Would I care to ‘Add three email addresses of friends that would be interested in this petition’

And put 3 people through THIS? .. No …

‘Would you like updates on this vote?’

It *could* have been a 2-click fucking thing. But no. It’s a data fucking farm pretending like it gives a fuck about the topics people put up on it. Never heard of IT making a blind bit of difference, either.

I have literally just recalled ; the petition was scummmy-cunt huw edwards pathetic sentence’s leniency. I found, on that day, four differently-worded separate petitions therein about the same thing, each diluting the others results. A zero-class joke of a setup.

And like all the rest of them (online petitions), .. nothing ever came about as a result.

Never again shall I ever entertain the likes.

  2. All western government are run by non-national commitees anyway…the WEF, United Nations, Tri-Lateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberger Group, the Bank for International Settlements, etc
And they’re just the public faces of the cunts who really run everything.
It’s naïveté in the extreme to think that electronically ‘signing’ some petition is going to do jack shit.

  3. Sorry to be off topic but just as we thought that we had seen the last of Keir’ s stupid decisions (giving Sarpong a peerage), we now learn that he has donated a book to the No 10 library. Many people who work within the place donate books that they have enjoyed, Starmer has graciously donated a biography of himself!
Is there no limit to the man’s conceit?

  4. Another escape valve for the Uniparty.

The veneer of alleged democracy in Britain has been worn very thin.

Shite like petitions are just a piss poor attempt to cover up for the total, absolute failure of Westminster and its grinning rabble.

    Oven.

  5. Don’t know why you bother trying to get in touch with the secretive bastards. I gave up on the cunts donkeys years ago, before the internet became that enormous elephant in the room.

  6. I remember the huge protests when sociopathic war criminal Blair started the Iraq war. He still did it. That was proof enough for me that protests and petitions are useless bollocks; they’re just a safety-valve like football or Reform UK.

The only protests that ‘work’ are the ones with which the government agree or started in the first place: think pro-asylum, pro-abortion, BLM etc.

  7. I would like to start a petition to make sure that quare little arsehole Peter (“Petie”) Mandelson is stripped of his title. Even King Charles punished Andrew within weeks, but Kweer never had any intention of doing it, so Andy Burnham should. I dare say Streeting will cry and threaten to hit him with his handbag, but for Christ’s sake let’s get this AIDS riddled bumboy a commoner again – and they don’t get much more common than him.

I suppose they hope he will die off so they don’t have to upset the old queen.

  8. Andy Burnham plans 13 billion increase in foreign aid according to a report in the ipaper.

    And so it begins……

Someone should start a petition. 😁

    The fucking cunt.

    Good morning 🌞👍

  9. Yeah they’re probably a waste of time. As are physical protests as the bbc and sky will claim the numbers were tiny and finish with the police scrapping with a few protestors after they started it.
What other options do we have?
And why did the poll tax riots work? (Which were against a fair system in my opinion).
