Looking back on time spent working for the council during the earlier part of that period, it’s easy to see the subtle infiltration and subversion now with hindsight, even with little things like consultants coming in and changing the ‘corporate’ language – Personnel became Human Resources, Admin became Business Support etc etc. It’s still ongoing – ie see that ‘Leadership’ has replaced the catch-all management.

In all honesty most persons suffering from this horrible illness cope with drugs occasional visits to a psychiatrist and family support (no choice that’s all there is). The problems really kick off when the person is on their own ( care in the community arse). Chuck in some stress, bit of weed, few cans and the telly talks to you or the radio. Voices in the walls as well as your head, the medication has side effects you don’t want that says the newsreader the pills will make you sterile stop them now. Sleep can be problematic when the voices are giving you commands. Your metal health nurse has been unable to visit you for two weeks as they have been collapsing under their workload, seems a man sticking light bulbs up his arse is in more need than a schizophrenic having a relapse. The voices the hallucinations are real they are. An end to this madness is approaching the voices have instructed you to push someone under a train, then stab any one in black shoes. So it goes on.
I have spent time in hospital with people like this, once the descent begins they are fucking lethal.
