Time to stop same sex couples adopting?
Jamie Varley and his equally loathsome partner John McGowan- Fuckface have been found guilty of numerous offences in relation to the death of Preston. They are due to be sentenced on the 18th of June and, as feet first into a wood chipper isn’t on the cards, we can only hope for a long time inside.
I also hope that one of the “lessons that is learned ” is that same sex couples no longer be allowed to adopt.
I’m sure that there are plenty of truly lovely people out there who would make wonderful parents, but surely this case highlights that even one Preston is one too many.
Yes, I know that there’s potentially as much risk with a traditional pair, but I can’t help feeling that warning signs were overlooked or ignored ,that would not otherwise have been, because someone was afraid of being thought transphobic.
This fear of being thought phobic in some way, be it of race, religion or sexual preference, is making cowards of people. Who cares if someone thinks you’re transphobic or whatever.
Better to be wrong and say sorry than have another Preston, or Henry.

Heartily concur with the nom, but I think if we were measuring risk I’d say de facto there is potentially far more risk with a pair of homosexual candidate parents.
Any normally minded homosexual would understand that one of the costs of their nature is being disqualified from eligibility for parenting; and those who refuse to accept this and push to procure a child who will be brought up in an environment and situation utterly contrary to their developmental wellbeing are by definition putting their own needs ahead of the child, and, in all likelihood, don’t give a fuck if they damage the child. This is not the foundation for healthy parenting, and those who allow it are pushing Marxist ideology over actual human rights. As I said the other day, it’s more important to leftist ideologues to be “right” than to do what’s right.

I would add that I count a number of gay couples amongst friends and clients, and many of them have nieces, nephews, god children on whom they dote and for whom they do a great deal in terms of pastoral and material support. These same gay couples also show no signs of thinking they can con nature and society by “having” children of their own (most of them in fact embrace the upside to being gay, which is you can live life to the full on your terms and not be encumbered by the burden of parenthood).
The type of gay person that doggedly pursues having their own children is, in all certainty, the type that is more concerned with making a point (at best, at worst something far more sinister) and shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near children full stop.

The state does not care about children or older people. It never has, They are a burden. Children need bringing up and educating. Older people know too much and clutter up the place.

It’s all well and good the adoption agency saying they conduct rigorous and strict checks on potential adopters, but where were the rigorous and strict checks after the child was handed over?
Varley was a teacher, he would already have had a DBS, and although they could carry out another, the result still would have been the same.
Clean DBS or not, surely there’s always the possibility, however small, that the reason they haven’t knowingly offended is because the opportunity (direct access to a child, in this case) was never available to them before.
With that in mind, would it not be sensible to carry out regular physical checks, perhaps every couple of weeks, to ensure the child has not been injured or fiddled with, rather than just blithely letting them get on with it?
And whilst they’re at it, perhaps the adoptive parents could be made to give full and unfettered access to their phones and other devices for regular checks.
I’d apply this to all adoptive parents, regardless.
Mind you, none of this alters the fact that same sex adoption is an unethical practice on all sorts of levels.
But we are where we are at the moment, so a little more care and attention clearly wouldn’t go amiss.

If you cannot naturally have kids then as a same sex couple you should not be allowed to adopt. If you chose to be a bender then its one of the many drawbacks to being a sexual deviant.
It boggles my mind how anyone can hurt small kids, automatic hanging for any of these bastards.
