If the thrust of most people’s objections to this war is who’s prosecuting it, and perhaps that it’s costing them more to fill up their petrol tanks, then look at the inactivity of the preceding appeasing leftist regimes running the world who allowed Iran to get to this stage, before moaning about how it’s been done and by whom.

It’s clear that your comments about their desperation to get a nuke is the driver, after all, the sticking point on the peace agreement appears to be their refusal to give up the enrichment & even after the bombing, who knows how close they might actually be & are just trying to buy time.
Destroy their economy, air power can do that, then getting a nuke will be set back. Don’t bother with an agreement, everyone knows an Arab can’t open his mouth without lying, so it’ll be worthless. Trash their capability to export oil & it’ll be an effective means of stopping the nuclear programme.

So is the question being debated here today a case of objecting to the deranged narcissist (a description of the man I don’t disagree with) or objecting to the case for war?

Put it another way, what do you think of the idea of the Iranians acquiring nuclear weapons? Do you care who deprives them of those weapons just so long as they don’t get them?
