Any enterprise collecting money on behalf of someone else, no matter how noble they intend to be, will have overheads and staff that need paying and then we inevitably end up with corruption and huge salaries such as with David Miliband et al.
Charities exist to sell something: good feelings and alleviation of guilt. Usually though, money is the worst thing to give because it can be spent on drugs or alcohol and encourages laziness and dependence.
If even smaller charities that make money like British Legion are somewhat corrupt, it should come as no surprise that a huge flashy affair (in league with that bastion of wholesomeness the BBC) such as Children in Greed are huge money making scams where the money will invariably go to some sort of brown invader (after expenses of course).
