Allowing the state to control death

is a nightmarish cunt – and a clear and present danger to us all.

Only the other day I was bemoaning the fact that there were so few truly macabre cunts to be nominated. However, this one is a corker. The sinisterly named “Omega – Journal of Death and Dying” has reported the publication of a Canadian paper “Government Economics of Expanding Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying to Vulnerable Populations and the Ethical Implications of Allowing the State to Control Death”

sagepub

Apparently the Canadian Government could save CAD 1.273 trillion dollars by 2047 by encouraging the mentally ill and elderly to opt for death rather than palliative care.

These findings’highlight a need for ethical scrutiny” – no shit!

I suppose we can only hope that Rachel from Accounts does not find out about this wheeze this before 26 November.

Nominated by Twenty Thousand Cunts Under the Sea.

  1. If they want to send Kweer, Miliband, Streeting et al off to the knackers yard, you will hear no complaints from me. At the very least Kweer should be put in a care home and Miliband a loony bin

  2. Not surprised because the cost of medical care for an expanding elderly population cannot be limitless – and I write this despite getting on a bit myself. Yet I wonder where this fits in with human rights and whether withdrawal of care would be a contravention. If it would, I can think of several million unwanted and ungrateful invading cunts and their entitled dependants who should have theirs contravened first.

  3. The Assisted Dying bill is not worth the paper it’s printed on, goes nowhere near far enough.

Why we don’t just copy and paste the legislation current in Switzerland, where assisted suicide has been legal since 1941, is beyond me.

Dignitas has been in operation for over 27 years. Hundreds of Britons (with £15,000+) have travelled abroad to facilitate a humane end to their suffering.

Here we have to endure hours of authoritarian bullshit – from the left and right and religious cunts – telling us bodily autonomy is not for the ordinary people of this country.

If the government is too lily-livered to act, put it to a fucking referendum you cunts!

  4. If I tried to wade my way through that link and all its references I’d be seeking assisted suicide by the end of it.

As the annual COP junket has ended without agreement, might one hope that Mental Ed will be contemplating ending it all?

    If only.

  5. No doubt Our NHS,under the careful stewardship of Westminster, will bring about AI robot doctors with the power to decide who lives and who dies..

Imagine a Terminator Wes Streeting laying waste to every cunt over 75?

Quite discomforting until you remember almost everyone has a family and many of them would see it all burn down afore they’d let some penpushing middle manager kill their granny..

    Oh wait,they already do that.

That’s it fucked then,I think I’ll go for a pint.

  6. They take your money every month to pay for your future pension, then they move the goalposts so that you can probably never be able to claim it.

Who wants to bet that they take your NI payments for your health care and then try to ensure that you don’t get anything out of that either.

To all governments, OAP’s are a drain on the economies.
    They want them dead.
No more benefits or health care to fork out for, with the added bonus of inheritance tax to be paid.

    • It’s all a sham anyway Arty. Pensions and the NHS are financed out of current taxation and have been for decades to my certain knowledge. What you pay in “National Insurance” simply goes into the pot with all the other taxes, VAT, income tax, speeding fines, road tax, stamp duty, inheritance tax you name it.

  7. Where it all ends:

‘Doctor, this ingrown toenail is giving me jip.’

‘Well, Mrs Lumberjack, I can give you this cream and then a minor op to remove it. On the other hand, have you thought seriously of ending it all? It can be the long term answer, maybe have a talk with your children, they will know what’s best.’

‘Thank you doctor, I knew you would be able to help.’

    Good morning, everyone.

    • Where it definitely won’t all end:

      ‘Doctor. I think I am a woman in a man’s body.’

‘Well there are procedures whereby we can cut your bits off so you can use the ladies’ changing rooms. On the other hand, have you ever thought seriously…’

      Fuck off.

  8. State sanctioned suicide, let’s call it what it is, is an absolutely prime candidate for mission creep. Look at the figures for any country which has it. As for applying it to the mentally ill, well the MP who is prime mover in the UK is a dyke. Can we expect to see her despatched shortly?

  9. It seems ethnic minorities get preference for everything, I would be quite happy for them get preference for the state suicide law.

    • It would have to be halal though, Sicky.

Some beardy weirdly shouting incomprehensible gobbledegook at them and then a retracting bolt to the forehead.

      It’s what Allah would want.

At least that’s the title I’m using for the ad campaign.

  10. By the time yours truly hits 70 in approximately 20 years time, this country will resemble a South African/Middle Eastern Logan’s Run.

I do have descendants who may wish to look after me in my elder years should I reach them and become a gibbering wreck.

I do try to look after myself and am probably a young 50 compared to some my age however, the thought of being in some care home having had everything taken from me by the government and having my head kicked in every day on the sly by African care workers isn’t a scenario I like the thought of either.

So Logan’s Run it will be.

  11. I thought euthanasia had already been implemented in the UK.
The way pensioners either freeze or starve, and having to wait years for medical care would suggest it.
