Hope you’re around today Jeezum. Just read about Dexter’s woes. One of ours a few years ago developed a large abcess on his head following a fight with another cat. First thing the vet did was to lance it which apart from the mess produced a smell which could have stripped paint. Short course of antibiotics and all over within a few days. I may be an old cynic but our experience is that there are good vets and not-so-good vets. Repeat prescriptions of very expensive medicines are a good income stream especially when they don’t achieve a fix! Best of luck.
Comes to mind our friend Deng could benefit from a one way trip to the vet’s. Immediate and permanent fix but unfortunately fairly painless.
