This ridiculously custody sentence has no doubt been as a result of the furore on social media……..a fact as good as mentioned in the judges summing up before sentencing.
My beef with this, is simply the fact these two cunts really do not pose a threat to the general public. So why the fuck jail them when the government tell us cell places are at a premium…so much so, that they have decided to let out criminals early to make room…..and these are criminals who genuinely DO pose a threat to the public- as proven in some new reports since release!
To my mind, if we really don’t have room to lock people up, I would rather these two cunts wandering the streets than some of the others. A far better sentence would have been a suspended sentence, a huge fine and shit loads of hours doing community service planting all these tree saplings that companies promise they are planting to offset their carbon footprints.

What these degenerate morons did was not just criminal, it was a calculated and deliberate “fuck you” to the feelings of all decent people in this country, who took pride in a much loved landmark – a tree that had significant cultural value for our nation.
On top of the 4 years in prison (they’ll be out in less than 2) I would like to have seen them sentenced to hundreds of hours of community service, involving difficult work planting trees, bushes, pulling weeds, etc.
Better still, how about the ancient druids punishment of entombing miscreants alive in a hollow oak tree? Once inside the entry points were filled with clay or something so the cunts could never get out. A small gap was left for air, then they were then left to die slowly.
