I’d like to nominate Judge David Fletcher for sending pensioner Maurice Snelling to jug for selling mince pies and wine at his shooting club during lockdown.
He did try to cover it up but hey cut him some slack – he’s old and has a heart problem. But no this denizen of the law wants him in chokey……
Nominated by: Rumncoke
(This is a fairly short nomination (see rule 3 of Nomination submissions. But since you’re new we’ll let it through this time – Day Admin)

Meanwhile, certain “honourable” people get a £50 fine.

Once you enter any country illegally you are a criminal.
The clue is in the term ‘illegal immigrant’.
But thousands of these criminals are being accommodated in 4 star hotels while British pensioners are being locked up for petty crimes.
I read recently about a judge who gave an Muslim a suspended sentence for raping an under age girl in a park.
Apparently he was taught that women were worthless and could be treated any way that he wanted.
It’s a cultural thing.
23
I was taught that we hang rapists and Islam is a death cult.
Can’t help myself. It’s a cultural thing.
36
…but we’re going to Qatar spouting to them our way is the right way and they are wrong, and quite rightly they have said fuck off.
If that was this muslims defence in our country then we should have done the same to him……..hypocracy and double standards. Should look closer to home

And there was me thinking that everyone was equal in the eyes of the law. I must admit that I was unaware that concept had been abolished – Silly me.
11
Well done to the cunt for conning the judge, piss be upon him.
Islamic school teaching the women are worthless, welcome to diversity in the UK

Ignorance of law is no Defence ( Stated Case )
4
The law and all its officers are there to protect the Government and others in the privileged class from the people, and to maintain their control over every aspect of your life.
It makes me laugh when ‘officials’ talk of oppression in China or Russia, but we are free?!!
24
You don’t know you’re born, LOL.
7
He wasn’t locked up for serving mince pies and wine during lockdown…he was locked up for attempting to pervert the course of justice.

9
PS…He sounds like an entitled, arrogant old Fart….I’m glad they locked him up and hope he does hard time.
7
morning your grace, maybe the old fart will now be Alex belfields bitch in the prison showers
6
Hopefully so,Sid… no more than the pair of them deserve.
5
Bit like you
1
That’s the thing the establishment doesn’t like: perverting the course of justice.
Dates way back to when an “affidavit man” could have you sent to the gallows based on his unsubstantiated testimony. Hence, this sort of thing needed a hefty deterrent.
Times have changed though and evidence is now needed to convict. Out of proportion sentences remain for ptcoj though.
Speeding ticket? £100 fine. Get caught saying your wife did the speeding? Six months inside most likely.
Whichever way you look at it the law’s an arse and needs to be treated as such.
4
WHY was he perverting the course of justice though? Because of an idiotic law which shouldn’t have been in place to begin with.
7
It’s got nothing to do with how idiotic you may consider a particular law to be…perverting the course of justice means that you are actively interfering with and impeding a Police investigation.

3
Mr Fiddler,
What, like when Sir Kweer was the head of the DPP?
7
Whatever Starmer may have done,or not done, doesn’t alter the fact that perverting the course of justice is a crime…if he committed such a crime,he too should be investigated.
“Whataboutism” isn’t an excuse for a criminal act.

1
Didn’t say it was, merely highlighted the fact that there is one law for the lawmakers and its officers and another for everyone else.
Lying to the police is ptcoj, so, for example, claiming you didn’t know you were at a party, when there is birthday cake and booze, on your birthday, or eating pizza and drinking and claiming you are doing so in the course of parliamentary duties, would appear sufficient evidence for a charge.
Not only must justice be done, it must be seen to be done. If the people creating lockdown regulations either escape with a fine or a slapped wrist, after quite clearly lying, one might reasonably expect others, less privileged, to be afforded the same latitude, not fined 10 grand or imprisoned.
5
Of course it’s unfair that the very people who made the rules, broke them and only got a slap on the wrist…but life is unfair, isn’t it ?….always was and always will be.
1
Mr Fiddler,
True my friend, very true
I’m afraid I cannot fix all that is wrong in the world, I do not possess a magic wand, unfortunately.
If I did, rest assured it would be rammed down the nearest politician’s throat.
5
@Termujin……your magic wand would meet the barbed-wire wrapped fence-post that I would be ramming up the other end.

Why are comments posted twice? Did WordPress have a little too much to drink last night?

Following on from “there, they’re and their” yesterday, it seems Admin needs a “your and you’re” lesson.
Yes, I am a sad, pedantic grammar Nazı!
Morning Admin / all. (Now fixed, thanks, Thomas. But we will be watching you very carefully. One missing full stop or a comma in the wrong place and you’ll be banged up in the Black Hole Of Londoninstab for all eternity – Day Admin)
11
👍

Hi DCI…I know it’s rather pitiful, but I just can’t let it go; standards for English are so woeful nowadays in the general population and if I may be pompous, we here on ISAC are the best of British.
Proper, old-fashioned British that will disappear soon under a deluge of dullards and foreigners.
16
Yeah you’re Wright their Thomas!
I’m a rite stickler for granma!
12
‘Morning, Thomas – with you every step of the way regarding grammar and the piss-poor bastardisation of our glorious language. We, at ISAC, should be champions of well-written English.
“Can I get…”
Yes, my boot up your smug hoop.
11
Gan on,DCI…..kick his Cunt in….batter the fucker.
9
They’ll be teaching Patois in School next
In Charge of the Curriculum will be Master Pooet Benjamin Zephaniah
Now He’s a Cunt of many Facets
7
I’ve noticed Ali G does a lot of voiceovers and continuity announcing.
Bruv.
5
Hi Thomas,
In your defence, there’s a film called “To Have and Have Not” but some of our pals on ISAC don’t appear to get the gist and would’ve replaced a few of’s for have’s where there aren’t any. Whilst I’m at it, there is also the claustrophobic space filled in between commas and fullstops.
4
Replacing HAVE’S with OF’S. ha, ha.
2
Wow.
Interesting.
3
What are your thoughts on the Oxford comma Thomas?
0
Never mind the Oxford commas, what about the full stops?
https://7news.com.au/lifestyle/calls-for-full-stops-to-be-illegal-at-the-end-of-text-messages-its-an-act-of-muted-aggression-c-8309508
No wonder so few millennials or Generation Zs come on IsAC………
4
Aye full martial spirit when it came to fining, arresting and imprisoning people for breaching “lock down rules” yet strangely can’t lift a single finger to boot out the thousands of illegal foreign crap.
Very odd.
21
Or when a gang of pıkeys turn up on a village green…”it’s a civil offence, our hands are tied,” say the useless pigs.
But when tinkers turn up near royal-owned land, they burst into action and the gentlemen of the road are gone within a couple of hours.
16
No leniency considered ,
That is unless you are culturally predisposed to rape.
Maybe landed on the south coast in a dinghy.
If you shot someone thirty years ago wearing a uniform beware!
British justice will find you.
19
In regards to Maurice thinking he was in Cheshire rather than Staffordshire,
I’ve passed Cloudside shooting club a few times,
It’s in Congleton,
If asked I’d of said it was Cheshire too.
He destroyed the CCTV footage 😁
And held the police in suspicion?
Seems to have a point there….
10
Grassed up by nosey neighbours, we all know the sort. I suspect he got such a harsh sentence because they wanted to encourage the sort of gutless brown tongued cunts who go running to the poxy government.
Don’t go running to them about illegal immos though. Forget it.
18
Welcome aboard Rumncoke.
On the subject of grammar, where’s Ewan Kerr these days?
I enjoyed his banter with MNC.
Just let me check that spelling!
6
I don’t think it’s been any different over the last few hundred years the rich and powerful do pretty much what they want and common folk just have to accept it….I’m pretty sure it’s Sods law?
5
Mince pies! The cunt should be shot.
Remember that MP Onasanya, only got 3 months for p*rverting the course of justice, as and MP and lawyer she should have got the fucking maximum, the skin colour was a mitigating factor (obviously) it’s a cultural thing.
10
And while this gentleman gets sent down, yet another piece of drink driving or violent chav scum gets ‘community service’ by skiving and drinking cups of tea in a charity shop back room…. Inconsistency isn’t in it… And let’s not even start on the statue wrecking criminal damage ‘Bristol Four’, who are still at large.
Also, if this man gets sent to the nick, surely Boris – and all those other plague partying cunts who actually made the rules – deserve it more than he does?
14
And Tommy Robbo gets jailed for calling out the Parking Stanley rape gangs that our so-called judges should be throwing away the key on and (better sill) deporting for good. This oountry is a joke…
Also, isn’t it funny how Bonio (who has got some sort of new book out) , Sting, Stormzy, and that utter cunt, ‘Jack’ Monroe, never get their real names mentioned. Yet the BBC and the press can’t wait to mention Tommy’s real name whenever they can…
12
I thought the beeb considered ‘dead-naming’ a mortal sin?
Poor Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. He should sue.
4
Or Gina Miller Norman, that’s not her real name either.
1
It wasn’t about the Mince pies etc. though, was it?
I felt the old temper rising when this story first surfaced, then I read up on it and saw what the old fool had tried to do with the CCTV footage…much as I hate to say it, the Judge isn’t a cunt here.
He got done for asking the protoStasi camera operators they’d contracted to run their CCTV system to delete the footage, now, much as I don’t like these companies, here they were in the right by keeping the footage and contacting the plod as to do otherwise would have landed them in the legal deep shit as well.
This whole incident would have probably passed without much notice had he not acted like a clueless muppet here.
The moral of this story:- Get someone with the requisite technical savvy to run your own ‘non cloud’ CCTV system and don’t farm the task out if you want complete control over the disposition and ‘well-being’ of your recordings, especially if you want to try play silly buggers with the law later.
7
Everyone from Filey are sending old Maurice a cake with an escape clause.
2
I went to Filey once.
It smelled of piss.
