Roku

In case you don’t know, Roku is a streaming TV service similar to Netflix. It’s a cunt because of blatant woke censorship and their unwillingness to admit it. Allow me to explain.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_On_(British_TV_series)

I’m on my second go round of binge watching the ‘90s British sitcom, Game On. It’s pretty funny and starred Samantha Janus and you definitely would. However, I noticed that Series 3 started with Episode 2, not Episode 1. Comment étrange! I rebooted my Roku device and hoped for the best. That did sod all, so I contacted Roku Support and asked about the missing episode.

They started off nice enough and over several email messages back and forth asked me to do the following:

1. Reboot the device. (already did that)
2. Confirm the system and software version. (it was on the latest version)
3. Run a system update. (nothing to update)
4. Use the search function to locate Game On and send them a screen shot of the results (seriously!)
5. Delete the Roku channel and add it back again. (like that was going to do anything)

At the point where the next buffoon picked up my response and asked me to confirm the system and software version again, I knew something was afoot. I took the liberty of finding a synopsis of the missing episode and guess what I found. Here’s an excerpt:

Whilst the others are at work, Matt answers the door to an imposing woman, Tess Freeman (Evelyn Doggart), who is looking for Mandy. Matt tries it [fortune telling] on with Tess but she thinks his palm reading is nonsense, and upon seeing her large hands he gets the wrong idea and says “You’re a sex change!” which leads her to crush Matt’s genitals and tell him that she is not a transwoman.

Roku Support then followed up by saying content does expire and is removed from the channel over time. I pointed out that expiring content would be at the series level, not an individual episode level. Try again cunts. Their next attempt to avoid an honest answer was to ask if Game On is being streamed by any other channel and if so, watch it there. Unfortunately, at this time it isn’t. I’d had enough at this point and bluntly told them the only plausible explanation for the episode to be missing is Roku have made a conscious decision to not stream it and in which case why?

Their response? “We will investigate the issue and notify you once there is an update from the team”.

In other words, I’ll never hear about this again because they won’t admit the episode contains plot which might cause hurty feelings for sexual deviant freaks with mental elf issues.

Spineless cunts.

  1. I have roku too its pretty decent for a free tv and film service . I like it for all the old series it has on there the commercials are annoying but really no different from normal cable TV

I think dukes of hazard used to be on there might of been removed. Wasn’t there last time I checked for it lefties don’t like it cause it has southern good ol boys had a naughty confederate flag on their car general lee

  2. I own several Roku gadgets. Apart from their tendency to overheat and wear out they’re pretty good technically. In Roku’s defense, they do perform a useful anti-woke service which is they enable you to watch TV without ever having to watch an ad or a msm news channel if you’re smart about it. Thanks to Roku I cut the cord on cable TV subscriptions without having to sign up to Apple, Google or Amazon TV. A little bit of wokery on their own channel is a small price to pay for that.
