Comrade Drakeford and the “Basic Income Pilot”

A “hammer and sickle” cunting for our favourite Welsh windbag Mark Drakeford and his push to turn Wales full communist with his “pilot scheme” (they said the same about income tax as I recall) to offer 18 year olds leaving care in Wales a guaranteed basic net income of £1600 a month.

Don’t get me wrong – teenagers leaving care have generally been through the wringer and I have no issue with them getting a bit of a hand up and some financial security but this money will not be means tested and recipients can still claim full housing benefit and Council Tax benefit, as far as I can see from the lengthy, shifty and seemingly deliberately ambiguous wording of the legislation.

This is not a proposal, this is being implemented by the windbag commie prick, and after doing a few calculations based on NMW from April onwards people on minimum wage will receive £1450 net monthly and out of that will have to cough around another £6-7 hundred Pounds a month on rent/mortgage/Council Tax.

It will not stop here – Drakeford has every intention of rolling this out to include employees and I ask why the hell would anyone be up at 5AM every day for a shift of dismal graft when they can just sit around playing the Xbox (other brands are available!) and be paid more? It will not just stop at this – the policy is the thin end of the wedge.

This kind of “daft English cunts great financial giveaway” is happening in various guises in Scotland and Ireland as well and I ask – where does this end? How much longer can a dwindling English workforce continue to be bled dry by parasitic socialists?

So, my proposal?

Offer England (and ONLY England) a Referendum on whether we want independence from three “Home Nations” who hate us but love our free money (where have I heard that before?) so they can try standing on their own financial feet for the first time in UK history and see how they enjoy living in the real world?

And a quick addendum if I may – I have no issue with anyone from any of the Home Nations who does not hate me just for the fact I am English, but far too many do – I am a quarter Welsh, a quarter Irish, half English with Scando-Nordic DNA (What a fkin mix!) so it is kind of fair to say I have a foot in a few camps on this one.

I took the opportunity to email Kim Jong Drakeford to ask if this scheme will be extended to prisoners being released from sentences for sex offences but no answer as yet! 😀

We will own nothing and we will be happy..

What a great idea! Not.

It’s going to turn people into jealous savages. What is the incentive to get out of bed when these lazy cunts get paid £1,600.00 a month.

When I’m going to work for a grand. Smells of socialism and cohersion to me.

At the end of the day it’s the government’s job to balance the books and it’s up to Royalists to look after the county. If you are not going to tell the truth when in government and the non working benefit scabs get paid more than the standard soldier. What is the incentive? Oh I know it’s the remainers trying their best to devlaue the pound again.

It seems government nowadays is like a big social experiment as opposed to actually dealing with big problems.

    • I think I am paying for most of it.

      In 2014 my mother died and left some money so I brought a 2 up, 2 down terraced house just outside Swansea. Mrs W is from those parts and it earnt me a lot of Brownie points. The rates were an astronomical £1,350 a year. They have risen to £1,500 and last year doubled as they are now charging double for 2nd homes. Yesterday it was announced that they are thinking (meaning not this year but probably next) it will double again.

      Drakeford is a dishonest politician. On the first Friday of lockdown in March 2020 he passed, on the QT with no-one about, an amendment to allow 16 year olds the vote. that was done without debate. Last year he passed a law that required Covid vaccination passports to be produced to get you into public events. That was done knowing that one opposition MP was unable to vote and if he had been it would not have passed.

      He is a weapons grade cunt.

      • Just thinking this Act of Lunacy WS what’s to stop you registering at your address in Swansea, stop renting it out if that’s what you do, thus adding to the ‘housing crisis’ and claiming the £1600 a month for you and the Mrs?

        Whilst I’d not heard of this lunacy being trialled in Wales I’m aware that everywhere in the world it has its failed beyond the worst nightmares of the lunatics that think it’s a great idea.

        Looking at the proposal it’s only a suggestion that they trial it with young people leaving care but the commitment is to extend it to every adult regardless of age and income.

        What a bunch of economically illiterate clowns.

        I hope they introduce it actually as it will be their ‘Poll Tax’ moment.

    Thatcher fought a brutal campaign of attrition to rid us of the commie vermin destroying the UK – but the problem we always have is this is like weeds in the garden – they never stop appearing and if we do not deal with them, hard, we get overwhelmed.

  7. How about giving these people leaving care a job, an income for doing work paid at minimum wage if they can’t find work themselves.

    Basic income is fine as long as it associated with WORK and isn’t higher than minimum wage and all this shit about just doing enough ‘work’ to be able to access full benefits and universal credit needs to be stopped.

  9. £1600 a fucking month? My first wage was £28 a month*, and my present monthly income (state pension + small occupational pension) doesn’t make £1600, even before the tax I get deducted to pay for shite like this. And getting housing benefit on top of that? ‘Scuse me, my mind’s just boggled.

    Just for a second I’m wondering if I need to be so worried about what Russia’s doing. Regime decapitation and re-occupation in Wales? Where do I get my AK-47?

      Rich beyond my wildest dreams.
      Mum got £4,
      I kept £4 for bus fare, lunch and clothes.
      £3.50 for going out every night and getting rat arsed.

He didn’t envisage the rise of the Krankies in Jockland so he fucked that bit up but it’s all going to plan in Sheepshaggerland. In what other system of government would commie fuckers like Drakeford and Wee Jimmy be anywhere near the reigns of power? All part of the plan to fuck this country up and bleed this country dry.   11. We are £2trillion in debt. To put that in perspective if you set out to count to a trillion it would take you thirty one thousand years. If you are under fifty you won’t have a pension let alone an income from the state.

  13. The devolved Scottish and Welsh Parliaments need to be scrapped forwith – all they do is come up with bollox like this at English taxpayers’ expense. It’s high time this nonsense is abolished.

    Give Scotland another independence vote and the Welsh also. Two choices: full independence away from the English teat OR full integration with no devolved Parliament and NO privileges over and above those that apply in England.
