      • I am not saying any such thing. What I am saying is that Islamophobia in the Tory party is as important (or unimportant if you aren’t too bothered about antisemitism) as antisemitism in the Labour party, and deserves impartial investigation just as much (or little).

        What Dark Key cunt is saying is that Warsi (a qualified and intelligent woman who had to negotiate a tricky line between Britishness and her background) is wrong. What the rest of us appear to be saying is that we shouldn’t even investigate it.

    I have an associate who lives in a small village in West Yorkshire. His family had lived in the same village for 4 generations-unusual in this day and age.
    When it became time for his eldest Daughter to start primary school, he wanted her to attend the small village school that he had attended, his parents had attended, as had one of his Grandparents.
    Thanks to uncontrolled immigration, his Daughter would be one of only three, white, Christian children from the locality, in her reception class.
    Officials from the Local Education Authority, suggested alternative schools. My friend and his wife stood firm.
    When she finally started school, she was the only white child-the other parents had been persuaded to seek other schools.

    She was bullied from day one, by older Muslim children. The teachers did fuck all about it. The headmistress, in a meeting suggested the best solution was to travel three miles to an alternative school with a 40/60 White/asian demographic.

    After their Daughter was continually bullied, this is what they did.

    The LEA, the local council, their local MP, the local press-did not want to know.

      Re that school: quite a lot has changed since I went to school (boarding, Surrey, leafy suburb country, only nice foreigners). It went co-ed after I left, and I can just imagine my reception if I announced that my spawn was to undergo the same single-sex education that I had, and insisted that the school change its policy. Times change, very unfortunately.

  20. There are several problems with Muslims/Islam, the main one being that for many Islamic law trumps state law, this is fine when the country is an Islamic state, there is no conflict.
    In western countries this has been a problem, the ‘teachings’ in Mosques have been shown to contain anti western literature and hard line Clergy actively spread anti western teachings.

    All this Islamophobia is justified and Warsi shouldn’t be surprised because it’s been driven by Western phobia in the Muslim communities. Towns and cities where whole areas have be ‘Islamified’ , what else can they expect.

    Anyone who travels on the London Underground and sees a P*ki with a rucksack and doesn’t have a particular thought pass through their head is a fucking liar.

They know nothing of traditional English culture. But these are English streets in England. Why are there so many people here who don’t look English?

    It bothers me that I thought my bias was conscious but apparently not. It’s in hiding, lurking in the dark recesses of my dim grey matter waiting to ambush me without warning.

    It gets worse, I’m fucking privileged beyond my wildest dreams because I’m white.

    I’ve reflected for hours on that and find myself racked with guilt that I can’t remember ever experiencing it, especially when I lost my job in 2009 during the so called ‘credit crunch’ and being out of work for 6 months +.

    It bothers me that I went to University at the age of 22 (in the early 90’s) and had to work weekends and one evening a week, every week for 3 years plus holidays in order to try to help better my lot when in fact if I’d have been cute I’d have just exercised my white privilege to help me get on.

    As a middle aged white male, I guess that makes me part of the ‘patriarchy’ it really bothers me that all the problems in the world today are so easily solvable if we just get rid of me and people like me.
