Yes we need starter homes (it was NEVER easy buying your first property) but let’s examine the facts that have caused the housing shortage. 100,000 more people per year have entered this country than have left for the last two decades. Blair opened the floodgates and Cameron and May couldn’t close them due to our membership of the EU. Now we are out but Boris is doing an Attlee with a master plan to concrete over this green and pleasant land. Local residents will have no say in what is build on ‘designated’ land. This isn’t nimbism just caring about your local environment.
In case anyone thinks I myself am being selfish I had an application for a dwelling on a plot of land next to me refused last year so I suppose the new laws might help me personally but I don’t want to see the old system torn into shreds. We need to protect the countryside.
The actual indigenous population of the UK is falling and I reckon the market would adjust itself in time. We need a return to 95% mortgages – the credit crunch was not due to 1000s of ordinary folk defaulting on their repayments. That was caused by the fecking greedy banks who had to be baled out. Most youngsters pay more in rent than a mortgage would cost they just can’t get a huge deposit together. And town centres will NEVER go back to what they were. Convert the buildings into economic flats and develop brown field sites. Developers hate doing this because it costs more than shoving up new housing on virgin land and reduces their profits. So fecking what! Do something for your country rather than your pockets for once.
1000s of migrants are returning to their own (eastern europen) countries as the pickings aren’t so easy here any longer now that we don’t have to abide by EU regulations. This will free up a lot of public housing which can then be allocated to our own people.
We need evolution rather than revolution but I guess that doesn’t sound so good in Boris’ soundbites.

The 100,000 net is an underestimate, more like 200,000, so our own population is increasing and building 100,000 homes a year may have been sufficient but not when unlimited, uncontrolled immigration went through the roof from 2004.

Not enough housing, or too many people? I know where I stand on that issue. Over the last 30 years, my area has seen lots of new housing, and only one I can think of is on a brownfield site. Where lovely meadows stood is now full of those dreadful new builds, with no gardens or space between, and of such poor construction, they will unlikely last a 25 year mortgage.
One more thing, that developers have to include ‘affordable housing’ on every site. By affordable, they usually mean social, so one reason for buying a home in a new estate is to escape the skum that make old council estates a nightmare existence, and you spend two hundred grand to live next door to some cunt who’s having it free, and doesn’t give a fuck for it. My brother was looking to move, as his area has been ruined by buy to let cunts who have filled them with junkies and piss heads, thieving cunts and ‘newcomers’. His neighbours were from Poland, and they had been here ten years and had been on benefits for most of it, the bloke did lots of cash in hand stuff, but never paid tax. There was being built a new estate close by, and my brother went to have a look, to see if it was worth a move. In the site office stood a map, with the normal housing marked in blue, and the ‘affordable’ marked in red, of which about a quarter of the site. Obviously wanting to be as far away from those cunts, he was hoping to be on the far side of the site, but they were all taken. So, he didn’t bother, until his motorbike got robbed again, then out of desperation he went for another look. This time, the map had changed, and at least half of the site was now designated as affordable, as not many wanted to buy homes next to cunts. A cycle no doubt repeated all over the U.K.
However, he did get rid of his layabout Polski neighbours, who went…….to the new estate, for a brand new house, gratis, courtesy of the U.K. taxpayers. Heartwarming eh?
As for the tories lining their pockets from developers, labour cunts would probably be building more housing, but for the indigenous feckless cunts, and the many more imported cunts they would welcome with open arms. And, make money themselves from the very same developers, with the same career path. They are all cunts.

As I see it, there will always be a need for more homes as the population is forever expanding. There’s one main problem with this. They stopped making land 4.5billion years ago! We hear a lot of talk about saving the planet for future generations but the way planning laws are going future generations will only have small pockets of protected green spaces that they will be able to call countryside and the rest will be built on. And guess what, the same demand for more housing will be there. What will the government do then? Start developing cities underground?
New planning laws are outrageously short sighted and only seek to address the need for housing in the short term. Relaxing old planning laws that have allowed house owners to build extensions without planning consent have made once nicely designed residential estates look ugly. Near where I live, a charming road lined with 1930’s bungalows has been turned into an eyesore by greedy developer’s buying them up one by one and adding massive roof extensions and then selling them for more than twice what they paid for them. Cunts the lot of them.
Yes, I agree with this nom. New planning laws are a cunt whether building on previously protected land or having scant regard for the aesthetic value of existing neighbourhoods. None of this relaxation will make any difference to need in the long run. What we NEED is less fucking people. Answers on a postcard please!!

Planning laws are what the pak.is want them to be. I wanted to build an extension and was grudgingly granted permission for a single storey on the back of my house instead of the 2 storey at the side that I had asked for. When I sold the house I was fucking furious to discover, courtesy of Google Earth, that the w0gs that had bought the house had not only built the 2 storey extension that I had been denied but also a fucking granny annexe at the end of the garden. I had to fight off a massive urge to go and burn the fucking place down.

If you declare that your residence is a place of worship, you don’t have to pay Council Tax. Always been a shortage of social housing always a waiting list. One of the major problems now apart from no houses is the allocation system was changed from a points based system to a “need” system. You got points for being local and things like that so once the requisite number of points were gathered you went to the top of the list and in due time got a bunch of keys and a dwelling. Now due to the sale of social housing which made a fair dent in the stock and the “needs” system You stand basically fuck all chance of a house: if the ambongos or chappattie families need a house cos three wives and twenty six kids and an inability to speak any English and just arrived on a flexi ferry trumps hands down any claim you as an English person have to social housing in the U.K. your racist for even applying. Take a knee now!
