When J Edgar Murdoch, ubercunt, bought it in 1981 he had to promise it would remain politically neutral to meet the requirements of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission. He’s been chipping away at this ever since until it’s just a mouthpiece, or arsehole, for Murdoch’s schemes to influence HMG, from Major, Blair and Brown through to Cameron. Nearly all of his main columnists have connections to the Conservative party so Murdoch has no problem when he wants to dis any threats to them. The latest case is UKIP (and yes, I am kipper – a cunt first, but then a kipper). When UKIP was in danger of eating into the tory vote in the 2014/15 elections the times tories went into anti-UKIP overdrive.
The recent story, Thursday 11th, about dodgy UKIP candidates was a front page lead in the Times with a double page spread inside, seemed a bit OTT to me when I read it, i.e. too much coverage of a pretty minor story, I mean it’s not exactly news that UKIP have had a few oddballs representing them in the past.
This pisses me off no end as I’ve been reading the Times since 1988 and I thought the paper was reasonably balanced, even if it always came down on the side of the Tories at election time. This didn’t bother me much as back then, in fact up until this year I’d always voted Green or Lib-Dem (anyone but Tory or Labour, 2 cheeks of the same rancid arsehole – I forget who I nicked the analogy from). Over the last year or so, since retiring, I’ve started to take a bit more interest in politics, current affairs etc and I’ve seen how biased the rag has become (now I can compare then stories against other sources on-lone and TV news, i.e. pro-US, pro-EU, anti-UKIP, pro-Turkey and Saudi Arabia, anti-Russian, demonising of Corbyn, oh and I forgot pro-Cameron and the “new” tories.
As a newspaper of “record” it’s become a fucking disgrace.

Nice one. Having also recently retired I wander to the local cafe for a crapuccino, eggs Cumberbitch and get a free read of the papers, times is hard (no pun intended). Then maybe an early doors in the t’ local me being oop the t’north. Sometimes I’ve waded through five or six different papers a day, not counting New Day which is complete bollocks, they should print it in black and white so it’s retarded readership can at least have fun colouring it in.
The Times is rabid, outclassing the disease-ridden Torygraph by a mile. None of them are particularly reliable and I won’t even mention the G word, that is a fucking shocking daily litany of bearded women railing on about menstrual products (aka tampon tax).
The Sunday Times is the worst of the lot, it doesn’t even make an attempt at trying to be posh or intellectual, dreadful bullshit.
I used to buy the ‘I’ but even that is limping along to the southpaws, badly, and drones on and fucking on about nothing in particular. Even Mark Steel’s column is a bore now, he’s better in person than in print.
Anyhow, if things get you down you can always come and paint my fucking bedroom, novelty has quickly worn off.

I did a degree (yah yah) in journalism but didn’t become one. People kept telling me I didn’t have the personality for it which I’ve grown to regard as a compliment.
Point is – regardless of any sanctimonious bullshit about any media outlet being some bastion of truth and integrity – news is a product that has to be paid for and in a very competitive marketplace (and a murky one at that).

These attacks seem to be coming along with increasing frequency at the moment. But as soon as they do, “progressive” twats are out in force with the standard narrative – Islam is a religion of peace, not all Muslims are terrorists, it’s the West’s fault, blah, blah, fucking blah, ad bloody nauseum. Do these cocksuckers have a template that they cut-and-paste every time some micro-cocked Islamist blows himself up in the name of his imaginary friend?
I do not need to be told over and over again by “progressive” faggots that most Muslims are not terrorists. I fucking know that, I’m not a fucking retard. However, whilst it is clear that most Muslims are not terrorists, it is also clear that most terrorists (at the moment) are Muslims. This is a fact, it is not “racist” or “Islamophobic” to say so.
The problem all the apologists make is to confuse “Islam” (or even “Islamism”) with “Muslims” and they use these two words interchangeably. How many times must it be said that Islam is an IDEA and Muslims are PEOPLE, they are not the same thing. I have read the Koran from cover to cover and it is anything but a peaceful book. It is totally incoherent, repetitive and dull; with the constant theme being that you will go to Hell if you don’t slavishly follow Allah’s petty (and often arbitrary) rules. I simply could not find the parts of this mad book that “progressive” twats insist make Islam a “religion of peace.”
But “Islam” is not the same thing as “Muslim.” Muslims are people with the same strengths and weaknesses that non-Muslims have; they are not robots who have downloaded some software called Islam that controls and dictates their every action. Some Muslims are clearly violent and want to impose their childish ideas on the rest of us. Most Muslims, I’m sure, want to be left alone to look after their own families and live their own lives. Neither of these types of people means Islam is a peaceful religion; it just means that some people take Mo the kiddie-fiddler’s violent rantings more seriously than others.
What is racist is the way people are labelled as “Muslims” because of their ethnicity, particularly by “progressive” twats. Perhaps folks from MENA or parts of South Asia are mostly Muslim, but is that really their free choice? Or is it because of the oppressive nature of those societies, where not being Muslim (at least outwardly) can be a death sentence? Perhaps because people from certain ethnic minorities have been abandoned (by “progressive” twats) to the tender mercies of greasy-bearded paedophiles in the cause of identity politics that they have the “Muslim” identity forced on them? Or they have no way of escaping this oppressive ideology?
One way I do agree with the “progressive” twats is when they say that the majority of victims of ISIS et al are Muslims. Only I would broaden this idea to say that the majority of the victims of Islam itself are Muslims – women forced into abusive marriages and into wearing tents; young girls who have their genitals brutally mutilated; gaylords who are murdered; schoolchildren who are beaten for not banging their heads on the ground often enough or for forgetting some of Mo the kiddie-fiddler’s ravings. These are exactly the people we should be HELPING to escape from the mindless cult of Islam. But any ex-Muslim who dares raise any of these issues is immediately denounced as an “Islamophobe” or (hilariously) as a “racist” by – you guessed it – “progressive” twats.
I ask who the real racist is – the knuckle-dragging BNP skinhead who hates all “Pakis” and can’t tell the difference between a Muslim and a Sikh?
