National brewer Greene King is about to rename The Black Bitch pub in Linlithgow, Scotland because yes of course, its raaaaysist, Has anyone in the hundreds of years it has been open ever complained? Probably not and if they have its more likely middle-class white liberal cunts from outside the area taking offence on behalf of other people.

Unsurprisingly it has fuck all to do with black people and is named after a local myth of a man sentenced to starve on an isle in the middle of Linlithgow Loch and was saved by his loyal black female greyhound who swam out to bring him food.

Greene King have cynically chosen to ignore any historical context knowing full well this purely to appease a minority within a minority, not only that it infantilizes black people, as if they are unable to distinguish between a pub named after a local legend and racist abuse.

I’m off to enjoy a pint or two at my local, The Jolly G*lly while its still open.
