Racist Britain strikes again, NHS maternity care is racist according to some half baked charity called Birthrights (All women so not very diverse init)

A year long study concluded that black and Asian women suffer racism in maternity care, well maybe some do but it doesn’t mean the system is institutionally racist. Aren’t there shit loads of ethnics in the NHS, I mean where would we be without Asian, African and East Asian nurses.

There is no reference to white women who may have not had the best maternity care experience but I am sure there are many, the problem is they are white so can’t cry racism only incompetence.

I would hazard a guess that the numbers who have problems during maternity care are proportionately the same across all women, but then that wouldn’t be a ‘real’ story would it.

When will this bullshit stop!

In support, can I set out the downright nonsense that this report contains.

Below are quotes that allege racism:

‘She believes her race played a role in her care: “I experienced microaggressions and was stereotyped because of the colour of my skin.”

“The staff would say ‘hello princess’, and while I was having contractions in a corridor a midwife walked past and said, ‘Oh, you’re definitely going to need an epidural’. I had never even met her before.”

“Racial stereotyping has got a lot to do with it. There is an assumption that black women have a higher pain tolerance. I don’t know where this comes from. It doesn’t hurt any less because I’m black.”

”Black and brown women reported feeling physically and psychologically unsafe during their care”

”Black women are more than four times more likely to die in pregnancy or childbirth than white women in the UK, while women from Asian backgrounds face almost twice the risk.”

The only actual evidence listed, apart ‘microaggression’ whatever the fuck that is, is the last paragraph. However there is absolutely no link to racism to it except in the minds of the professional victims and their allies at the BBC.

And there are numerous maternity hospital scandals which are completely random regarding race, whatever is in the minds of these fuckers and their supporters at the BBC. But that doesn’t support the narrative of racist Britain.

The latest attempt to be woke appears to have angered everybody (including some trans people), for some strange reason the great minds at the NHS have decided that removing the word woman from Heath matters specific to WOMEN is a good idea.

There are lots of links on the net but I chose the mail because it shows the ‘before and ‘after’ and to me and many others it doesn’t make any sense, why take out the word woman from health advice for cancer of the womb or ovaries.

This never ends and until the legal definitions and biological sex are put in fucking stone the woke will continue to erode the biological realities.

Fortunately, the tribunal thought differently and she lost the case. Reading the story in the link, she sounds either as mad as a box of frogs, or a con artist on the make. At least, in a rare show of common sense, her bullshit claim was dismissed.

No doubt she’ll now appeal on some crap human rights grounds and a parasitic HR lawyer and her will end up quids in.

I have been reading some quite harrowing accounts of enforced child labour (and working class exploitation in general) before and during the Victorian era of the UK (1750s to early 1900s), especially during the height of the Industrial Revolution and the lack of any laws protecting the rights of workers and children.

But I want to focus on the working class children, most of whom were forced to work in mills, factories, coalmines or sweep domestic and industrial chimneys in order to earn a meagre income for their families. But their wages were so poor that they had to work almost 18 hours per day for anything up to 7 days a week in order to earn sufficient money that would provide basic family meals.

Of course there were no unions back then, which meant rich bosses could exploit children with little or no redress. Children who were late to work or didn’t put in a good shift were caned or beaten by their employers and would find deductions in their wages.

On returning home they would be beaten again by inconsiderate parents for not bringing in their full wage!

Needless to say there was no health and safety practices in these factories and as such injuries and deaths were common place. Access to hospitals was quite often impossible and/or expensive for the working class (no NHS back then) and in some reports bosses would dump dead children in shallow graves or rivers/canals miles away and tell the parents their child had run away!

To add to their misery young girls were quite often sexually abused and/or raped by employers. But again they were forced not to speak out otherwise they would have no wages and/or would receive intense punishments. (And it is best not to describe what happened to young teen and preteen working girls who ended up pregnant!)

Yes, things improved vastly over the last 150 years with the advent of new laws, Acts and unions. But the sad fact is the working classes of the late 1700s through to the mid 1900s were treated like scum – slaves in fact!

And yet to some modern day thinkers, such events never really happened. Or if they did they were never as bad as for those “usual victims” from overseas.

There is a photo in the link below, which I hope Admin will use as my header pic. It shows two “slum” children, possibly sisters, alone in the streets of London (circa 1890), alone and afraid, just ripe to be exploited.

It makes me terribly sad to see this imagery; but equally annoyed when I hear woke types dismiss such things as secondary and that this kind of history should be “revised” and “revisited” to tell the truth from a more diverse multicultural/colonial angle.

Clearly these two children are showing off their “white privilege”, and should be utterly ashamed of themselves!

Considering how pious and pure “Mr. Rules” Starmer is, I wonder if he will be calling her into his vestry for a chat about taste, honesty, morals and decency. He has the little ones to consider – Yvette “Sugartits” Cooper, for example.
