The MoD Afghan Enquiry

“An inquiry into allegations British Special Forces murdered unarmed Afghan civilians has cost UK taxpayers £58m, figures from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) show.

When the inquiry was launched in 2023, its chair Lord Justice Haddon-Cave said it would aim to report, “at least on an interim basis”, within 12-18 months.

However, the inquiry has now been running for more than three and a half years, and has yet to publish any findings.

In a statement, the inquiry said its work was “greater and more complex than it originally envisaged”…

Cunts.

“The SAS Regimental Association (SASRA), which represents more than 5,000 SAS veterans and serving personnel, said it remained committed to supporting the inquiry and helping achieve a “timely solution”.

But in a statement, it added: “The prolonged nature of the process is itself causing significant and widening harm.”

It said the inquiry posed a “significant challenge, not only to the regiment’s reputation and the wellbeing and morale of its members, but in the association’s view, to the operational effectiveness of a key element of the nation’s defence”.

It said the cumulative effect of decades of legal scrutiny arising from operations in Northern Ireland, Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria was placing a significant burden on individuals, families and the association itself.”

How about leaving our elite troops to do their job,at which they are the very best in the world, which is to kill our enemies as quickly and effectively as possible.

Destroying our armed forces morale one enquiry at a time, the Quisling dung.

But never mind, the enquiry is getting very well paid and that’s the most important thing.

BBC News?

Absolute filth, the new normal for a country obsessed with red tape and kneeling to our foes.

  1. “Afghan civilians” so Islamic headbangers with ties to the taliban..

And as william munny once said maybe they should of armed themselves..

  2. £58 million of our money being spent trying to prosecute / persecute the men sent to do a nasty job on behalf of our politicians.

Surely the politicians who sent our armed forces to Afghanistan should also be held responsible?

See how quickly that enquiry is dropped if they are.

  3. Bewigged traitors trousering £millions for pointing the finger at the men who protected their right to do so. The lowest filth in the nation.

  4. It’s a shame there aren’t any Battle of Britain pilots left alive, because the Cunts of State would have loved to prosecute them for war crimes. Think how much of our money the lawyers could have coined out of that. Then we’d pay millions in reparations to the families of downed Messerschmitt and Heinkel aircrew..

Never mind, let’s pick on someone else.
How about war criminal Simon Weston?
Charged with illegally putting out a fire with his face, contrary to Health & Safety regulations.

    • And pertinent to the previous nomination, the Jury to be selected from the Argentina team sheet at this year’s World Cup semi-final.

  5. A rag head is a rag head regardless of being part of the Teletubbies or any other fucking faction, why take any chances.

If our useless governments decide to send our forces to shitholes don’t get upset when a few rag heads get slotted.

    Inquiry, my arse.

  6. A well funded cesspit isn’t it?

Quite the conundrum, govt after govt funding a proxy war against Russia, recently ramping up the rhetoric for a war we cannot prepare for nor win….

Yet also spending huge sums hounding our special forces for years.

    Great for morale.

A skirmish with Russia up in the Arctic Circle would suit the govt well, false empty patriotic guff to distract from complete domestic failure.

I wish a rogue unit of former S.F soldiers would make the committee members disappear forever.

  7. Haddon-Cave led the enquiry into the Nimrod explosion and crash over Afghan back in the day.

The outcome of his enquiry led to the creation of the MAA, a body with regulatory powers to control all aspects of Military Aviation and the employment of hundreds more civil servants (jobs for the boys) with umpteen desk officers and paper pushing powers to spanner the works for the front line guys.

The establishment is alive and well.

  8. Time for the military to take over and turn the table on this shit, who’d like to be on that jury? While that’s going on, round up the invaders at gun point and put them in internment camps on bread and water while awaiting repatriation.

  9. Firstly, I doubt this is actually true and just more left wing hatred of anyone who is proud / serve their country (what’s left of it).

Secondly, even if it is true, they were almost certainly, raghead terrorists and it has reduced to number of dingy rats turning up on our shores.
