I’m going against the flow on this one and giving Old Joe some support, whilst accepting that he should have fucked off into the sunset, years ago.
The reason for my support relates to the Falklands War, in which he firmly came down on the British side. Stating that Argentina should have no doubt about which side the USA was on. Citing that the UK was a NATO member ( Article 5 ).
This was backed up by Uncle Sam with material and weapons supplies, as well as satellite data and even the offer of an aircraft carrier.
The USA and Joe Biden are far from perfect, but we have cause to be thankful that we are allies and that the country and the man stood up for what was right.
