New Covid Variants causing concern

It occurred to me today that we are getting towards the end of summer, so logically will start thinking of autumn and winter, days getting shorter and so on…but not least because of the predictably timed rash of news stories about exciting new Covid variants.

Today I have seen news items about variant Pi, variant BA.6 and variant Eris ( who was apparently the ancient Greek goddess of discord and chaos) and also stories about how we must all start wearing masks again and aren’t lockdowns a jolly good idea. It shows the utter contempt that the media, sinister government advisors and pharmaceutical companies have for the public that they have the brass neck to start wheeling this old shit out again for yet another year. I really hope there are riots if anyone tries to impose all this crap again. Even the dullest bulbs I know wouldn’t go along with it at this point (unless a bit of furlough was thrown in). What an utterly cretinous bag of old wank.

Here we go again.

There’s a new strain of Covid ( what, another one?) and already the Press are speculating, well more like sounding as if it’s a done deal, about a return to mask wearing and possible lock downs to ” protect the NHS”, you know.

Interestingly, there’s also a lot of comments, in various publications, that lock downs and masks DID prevent the spread of Covid.

That’s not what you were saying early, when enquiries and committees started looking into the Governments response to the pandemic. Do you really think we have so little ability to think rationally?

Also, if you want to “protect the NHS”, stop spaffing money on foreign aid, legal aid for illegals, accommodation for the same that turns out to be unsuitable, vast sums of money to Rwanda and France, and spend it on the NHS – and NOT more managers/diversity officers, either.

While you’re at it, maybe cull the deadwood in the HoC and HoL, too!

  1. More people may take an interest in these viruses if they had cool names I mean variant 3sdc4omega6 is wank. Why not yellow reaper, slant eyed death bug, Tranny buster number 6, death of wokists plague. Lots of people would get onboard with that sort of naming scheme. Which may allow the government to fund the thousands of illegals without further cuts to mental health budgets and forcing people with chronic anxiety off benefits and back to work. Or not. Fuck it all, time for motorbike then copious amounts of the water of life, and hopefully eventually make some sense of this goatfuck or just spew on a dog and spend the night on the floor again.

  2. Those in authority pretend to care about us as people in regards to covid, wear a mask, get a jab, track and trace, social distancing etc

    Yet on the other hand, we know they hold us in contempt and policies currently being drafted such as the new energy bill will see us in prison for simply not adhering to the green agenda.

    Take your fake ‘caring’ and stick in the same place as your green agenda,
    up your hemorrhoid infested hoop.

  3. I really can’t see any government anywhere in the world getting away with imposing restrictions again.

    The massive majority of people would not put up with it.

    Which makes me think…… Why did these people comply with the restrictions and relulations in the first place?

    Lessons really have been learned.

    • If the media go into full lie and scare mode again with all the resources of the government behind them 9such as behavioural science teams) you might be surprised just how many fall in line.

      A lot of it works in the same way the Stasi achieved their success; a lot of the psychological effort was done by compliant citizens doing their bit and shaming/reporting the dissenters. I copped a fair bit of shit for not worshipping the NHS every Thursday night.
      I simply responded ‘I’m sorry, I didn’t know I was living in fucking North Korea’.

      At the time I said it was mass behavioural modification and it turns out there was a lot of deliberate attempts at that.

  5. Watching the BBC News last week, the newsreader had a smile on her face and looked like she was about to come with excitement on telling the great unwashed about the new variant. If it had been a bloke, you would have a jizz bolt that would have matched Cliff Richards after 40 years of blue balls. I loathe these fuckers with a passion. It wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve been told to doom monger by SAGE et al. Josef Goebbels had nothing on these fuckwits, god I hate this country.

  6. Keep the news off the telly. Get on with your own life, and you’ll be a much, much happier bunny. I happened to come across the BBC website last week, and until then, had no idea that COVID was still a thing.

    Pay the mask-wearing ninnies no mind. If they’re scared to go out because of what used to be called a cold, then let ’em be.

    Whilst things may be a bit different in the United States, I don’t see any of this “new variant” shite flying here. The Powers That Be massively overplayed their hands during the last rodeo. I don’t see that succeeding again – even those of us who were duped (I was one of ’em, I’m ashamed to admit) in 2020/2021.

    If they do try bullying us into submission, do any other UK-based Cunters see the shit hitting the fan? Even my most compliant of friends with whom I’ve discussed “new COVID” have said words along the lines of “nah, no fucking chance – not again”.

    Unrelated, it’s too fucking hot. Is it acceptable to have lager for dinner?

    • Get that lager down your neck friend. I’ve slaked my thirst with a couple of nicely chilled Henry Weston’s.

      As for Covid, all a load of bollocks. There was a seasonal flu doing the rounds, undoubtedly. Could the NHS cope, of course not, as it’s a festering swamp of middle management ineptitude and reception desk Nazis….

      As for SAGE. Well Jenni Harries or whatever her name was, a fully paid up member of the UK communist party and a behavioural scientist.

      Yet still some think ‘they’ had our ‘best’ interests at heart.

  7. My local medical practice is still dining out on those covid ‘rules’.

    Door is still bloody locked, and people have to ring the bell and wait like a kid outside the Headmaster’s office.

    Medical Centre Receptionist Nazis then ‘decide’ if any person is worth ‘bothering’ the GPs with. Still the same excuses and crap. (that snotty uppity tone) ‘We are ve-ry busy! Covid, you know!’ And this is only last week. These receptionist Nazis now even ‘diagnose’ people and veto prescripton requests. Oh, and apparently the requesting of a prescription by phone is now a crime.

    While Dentists are coming out of the Covid mess and now seeing patients again, the Doctors is having none of it. My practice in 2023 is just like it was in 2020. Except now the receptionists are even bigger cunts.
