Chancellor John Healey

As I write this, the Budget is a mere 24 hours away, so time for the, now traditional, drip, drip of information to whet the appetites of this government’s adoring public.
Aside from the obvious tactic of avoiding political suicide by freezing fuel duty, our esteemed chancer, sorry, chancellor, has come up with a sure fire solution to the cost of living crisis.
A reduction of taxes on foodstuff ‘staples’
Sounds fantastic.
Or is it?
According to the BBC, the list of products the government is removing tariffs on includes:

Baked beans
Garlic
Gherkins
Chocolate-coated wafers and waffles
Boiled sweets
Toffees, caramels and similar sweets
Citrus jams, marmalades and pastes
Throat pastilles and cough drops
Plant-based drinks including soya, nut, cereal or seed
Kerosene
Fertilisers

A tax reduction on fertilisers may offer some relief to beleaguered farmers, and the same on cereal products sounds sensible, but can you see anything else on that list that will help anyone outside of Islington?
Apparently, families could save up to a massive £21 a year.
That should help kick start the economy, shouldn’t it?
Is this cunt for real?
Sadly, it would appear he is.
Dear me.

  1. A simple way to dave billions of pounds in about two weeks. Stop the dinghy invasion. A further 1460 arrived this weekend. It’s not rocket science.

  2. The budget was missing the biggest topic (other than channel cunts) the fucking bone idle, slightly anxious and foreign cunts on welfare.

The are going look at it, have a few more reports when all it needs it a fucking bomb dropped in there.

My annoyance was the pension fiasco, the new state pension will be the tax allowance for people on or below the new state pension, everyone else just gets left paying tax above the standard personal allowance, I thought two tier had gone but it seems it’s still alive and kicking in pensions.

The chief bum boy at defence tells us to prepare for war in 1000 days but nothing on increasing funding, oh that’s right, wait for another review next year (sometime)

£100 quid to help with gas and leccy and a promise to sort out standing charge on gas bills, well something I guess 😂

  3. They genuinely don’t seem to realise that when either no-one has any money or there’s no food on the shelves to buy, oogas will happily eat people. And as South Africa shows, gated communities won’t fucking protect you from a broke hungry booga.

    • John Healey man of principle who resigned over defence spending?

He lives in a crypt and moves amongst the shadows,
      the Nosferatu cunt.
