GET an adult to take you to the police, report the incident and remember that you have done nothing wrong.

My employer once told all of us that we could volunteer to join a scheme they had introduced to make a regular donation from our salaries to the NSPCC which would be exempt from income tax. One lad went to the trouble of finding out how the NSPCC spent its money. No-one signed up.

It became apparent a few years ago Unk that most charities, if not outright scams, at least existed mainly for the benefit of those who ran them. Charitable donations have been sliding steadily for a decade or more. The good news is that the charities which exist to aid foreigners e.g. Oxfam, RNLI, are the ones that have really taken the hit. Charities which aid Brits have not suffered so badly and one or two have actually received more money.
