I just heard that France has been sending letters out to 29 year olds, urging them to have children while they still can.
Apparently, this is because young people are needed for taxes, to keep the country running.
It is also a gateway, into lecturing people about their health.
I know the term Orwellian is overused, but in this instance it feels more like rich people pontificating to the masses.
There are many reasons why the birth rate has declined (China, Japan and the UK are also affected).
Lack of well paying jobs, lack of housing, an uncertain and hostile future, the promotion of toxic ideologies, discrimination, etc.
The reason I didnt have kids was largely financial, but upon further reflection it was more down to being Autistic.
If the French are really concerned about their future, MAYBE they should make the appropriate provisions, instead of adding to people’s problems.

I imagine the birthrate is probably fairly normal in France.
The problem is is that they actually need to produce kids that will actually grow up to work and pay tax.
Not to spend a life sucking on the government tit claiming benefits for their several wives, dossing around outside a mosque, slurping coffee and eyeing up primary school age children all day.
The French, not unlike ourselves and every other Western nation, have done this to themselves by being tolerant.

Apologies to be O/T (but not worth a cunting), apparently, it’s been recently discovered that hedgehogs can hear frequencies in the range of about 4kHz up to at least 85kHz. I`m guessing that if they had specialised in hearing approaching vehicles whilst randomly crossing roads, they would have had a better survival rate.
Nothing squeaks at 80+ Hz – still, that`s Darwin for you.

If the French are worried about their population decreasing, all they have to do is award French nationality to all the African / Middle Eastern etc immigrants flooding into their country (on their way here) and leave them to breed like rabbits. Problem solved.
