As a result of this ludicrous posturing, little Greta was made the subject of an exclusion order and fined about £130, as were many of the other red costumed clowns taking part. Talk about being up themselves.
I might just feel a touch of sympathy for little Greta if she had the gumption to turn up in Beijing, capital city of the world’s greatest polluter, and stage a protest there. We all know she won’t of course. Personally I’d have loved it if the Italians had slung her into the slammer for a couple of months. I visited Venice in August.
Unfortunately Greta wasn’t there as far as I know,although it felt like half the world’s population was.
