Anyway, I found it to be very woke and super fucking inaccurate on technique and reality.
Little things, like snipers sticking their guns out of windows, verbatim, building clearance, and then the biggest thing that boiled my piss, the baddies!

If we really need yet another police drama series (which we fucking don’t), then I’ve an idea for a realistic, modern take on the concept.
The Stasi.
A gritty, action packed series set in a fictitious Met police station in south London.
Watch spellbound as the met’s finest ignore petty crimes like burglary, drug dealing and knife attacks as they trawl through hours of social media communications in their hunt for vicious far right supporters who say nasty things about the government and transvestites.

You make a significant point there BB. Some of the howlers they broadcast are because they are ignorant of ordinary everyday facts which are common knowledge amongst normal folks. Others though are due to their simple snobbery preventing them from asking for the information from those they regard as the lower orders. The time it strikes me is when a presenter on the TV speaks of something even slightly technical and demonstrates that they don’t know what the fuck they’re talking about. On the other side of the camera is a small army of engineers who know the presenter is talking bollocks but are fully aware that the safe option is to keep their heads down.

My wife wanted to watch this, I knew it would be shite, but it is ITV, not BBC (not that it matters, all mainstream tv post 2010 is shit). I loved it as I played woke bingo. It is so banal and awful.
