Anti Freedom of Speech

A nomination to those that wish to silence freedom of speech. I’m going to be careful with my terminology (Admin). The lefty that assassinated Charlie Kirk, someone that possibly didn’t possess the literary skills to debate their opinion, someone that was possibly scared to hear an articulately spoken retort that was probably the thoughts of the majority, probably too scared of the distain their outburst would be met with, took someone’s life. A father, a husband, son, grandson, I’m sure you get the idea.

There are certain lines that must never be crossed when expressing Conservative opinion, incitement, hateful language, even racial language. None of these lines were ever crossed to my opinion when Charlie Kirk debated any particular issue, although I’m not going to pretend I agreed with everything he had an opinion on but isn’t that the whole point of free speech?
For me, the assassination of Charlie Kirk symbolises the agonisingly slow deconstruction of free speech in the Western world, piece by piece, word by word. The thing for me that makes this so abhorrent is the fact that so many laid down their lives in two world wars in order for us to have the right to free speech, democracy and liberty, an ultimately selfless act that should never be forgotten.

In a world where the minority seemingly has a stronger voice than the majority, where being without a label seems to outweigh what people really are, where injustice is common place, or to be expected. I for one just can’t accept it, I’ve lived in an era when a spade is a spade, say it as I see it and exercise plain old common sense, I always felt I had the ability to speak freely,
unfortunately I’m beginning to feel that this is no longer the case.

    First thoughts might be that “we” are a dying breed. But I don’t really think that is the case. Listen in to any conversation down your local pub/club and you will hear the same sentiments.
    It’s just that the majority of us remain silent in public. “We” far outnumber the demented few (I reckon, even if you include our non-Caucasian brothers), but we do nothing. Witness the miserable 40% that didn’t bother to turnout in 2024.
    FFS – if we continue in this vein then we deserve what we get – witness the last fourteen months.

  7. The left havent the spine for such an undertaking. The narrative that Kirk was killed by some softcock lefty has already been debunked by the alt-media.

    Tyler Robinson sending a text to his lover confessing the act and stating the motive in an all-to-convenient text message?

    Days leading up to the assassination, Kirk was under immense pressure from pro-zionist lobbyists. He had also turned down millions in donation from said groups.

    He was also getting increasingly critical of the human-rights violations in Gaza. He said he loved Israel but hated Bibi.

    Someone as influential as Kirk, criticizing Israel was starting to pose a serious problem.

    Islam has grown in the UK, unchecked, unaccountable and ‘celebrated’, the left refuse to accept that Islam is incompatible with western liberal democracies, it is a cancer.

    All the shit over Aston fucking Villa v Maccabi Tel Aviv, the fans won’t be safe, why isn’t the truth being told, who are threatening violence against the Israeli team fans, there must be intelligence for the council/police wanting to ban travelling fans.
    Is it the Aston Villa fan club, probably not, is it the wider fan base, probably not, so who are making the threats, identify the threat and neutralise it.
    West Midlands police can call in more resources from other forces if required, are they worried that demonstrators will be bused in from other parts of the country, well put a fucking ban on that instead.

    We are weak, weak, weak, can’t call a spade a spade even when it smacks you in the mouth.

    • Your first paragraph is spot on. The ‘long march through the institutions’ is a real Marxist strategy, which has come to fruition in the last couple of decades. You won’t get a senior managerial jib in ANY public sector role these days unless you can ‘prove your credentials’ in that regard. There’s an actual course facilitated by Common Purpose to prepare and coach would-be applicants.

  12. It’s the two tier aspect that really irks me . Labour Councillor calls for throats to be slit, gets away with slap on the wrist. Non entity so called singer at Glastonbury sings “Death, death to the IDF”, never hear any more about it, it’s swept under the carpet. All this will lead too is leftwing nutcases thinking they have free rein to shoot, maim and attack anyone who doesn’t agree with their views. Young Reform Councillor beaten up the other day by a mob. Left wing politicians and their ilk who ought to know better, inciting this with ill thought out ‘Racist, fascist” slurs. RIP Charlie Kirk and the brave men and women who laid down their lives in two World Wars so we can have the luxury of debate.

Thank fuck I’m getting on in age, I seriously detest this place now and the ugliness that is all around with 🧠 dead morons spouting about islamaphobia,trans rights, immigrants welcome,workshy skanks getting freebies without lifting a finger etc….you only have too look at the majority of the attendees at any so called protest for the realisation of how low the country has sunk…I feel physically sick at the thought of my grandkids future 👍

  15. About three years ago I hospitalised somebody, they were found wandering, disorientated and taken to AE.

    That person in particular had insisted on exercising his freedom of speech which was of a very left wing rhetoric, derogatory, insulting (and based on no hard evidence at all) and was rather aggressive in his presentation.
    I can not put my finger on what button he pressed, but he pressed the right one and became the recipient of a lot of pain.

    At a later point, said person sobbed and said that they were expressing free speech and open debate ( although I could have sworn they were shouting at me like a rabid Mongolian).

    So I am afraid to say, I myself curbed free speech recently.

  16. The writer of this nomination speaks for most of us when he advocates free speech, but doesn’t help his cause by stating that Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a ‘lefty’. This is not the case, as he would have found out if he had done a little research. As soon as the event occurred, the word was being spread around that the gunman must be a democrat / lefty / liberal, which would have made excellent propaganda for republican / the right / conservatives.

    Unfortunately for them, the alleged gunman turns out to be from a Republican household and has links to a far right group called the Groyper Army who have targeted other conservative groups and individuals who they consider to be too mainstream.

    Another example of the rhetoric being used by politicians and others in the States was when JD Vance, the Vice President, claimed that thousands of immigrants were crossing the border and eating people’s dogs and cats. This turned out to be a lie, but when confronted by the press, he actually said that even if it wasn’t true he still had a right to say it.

    Which means you shouldn’t immediately believe everything you hear, even when it agrees with your preconceived opinion. You have access to a search engine and you will decide where the boundaries of your knowledge lie – no pun intended.

    This, of course, will be the thin end of the wedge. And, many old songs will disappear from records and airplay because they contain hurty words. Harry Belafonte’s Banana Boat Song, Brown Sugar by the Stones, Lola by The Kinks, and many more.

    John Lennon could be a real cunt (by his own admission). But jhe wasn’t afraid of speaking his mind and banning things because of the perpetually offended. His son should be ashamed of himself. Little toadie.

  23. If I grabbed a megaphone and shouted hurty words regarding a certain “religious” group I could find myself serving a prison sentence starting in 24 hours time.
    Funny how the cunts who broke a female police officer’s nose during an extremely violent assault at Manchester Airport haven’t even appeared in court yet.
    Same applies to those aggrieved Ukranian pretty-boys playing with matches in the vicinity of Dame Kwear’s residence.
