Have you heard about the strange, not to say alarming, case of one Linzi Smith? If not, allow me to elaborate.

Linzi is a die-hard Noocassel fan who’s been banned from attending Magpies’ games, for the ‘crime’ of expressing views that don’t align with current gender orthodoxy. She has posted online of her belief in the reality of biological sex, making comments such as ‘here’s your daily reminder that transwomen are men’.

As a result of stating such an heretical opinion, Linzi has been told by NUFC that her presence at St James’s Park is no longer welcome. Now you might think that this was bad enough, but on appealing the decision, the club responded by presenting documents which included a report on Linzi by the so-called ‘Stadium Stasi’ aka the Premier League’s ‘Intelligence Unit’. This featured a mass of personal detail which had been collected by them. It transpired that she’d also been referred to the scuffers, although they concluded that she’d done nothing wrong.

Now hold up. Just what the fuck is going on here? This woman isn’t some violent yobbo with a record of trouble-making at matches. What business is it of NUFC if she has an opinion on the transgender issue? And just who, and what, is this PL unit, to go about invading her privacy? How many other people might this jumped up petty Gestapo currently be treating in the same way?

People used to tell me that this was a free country. This would be worthy of a Monty Python sketch- ‘nobody expects the PL Intelligence Unit!’- if the implications weren’t so sinister. Seems to me that the rozzers are to investigate anybody, it should be the activities of these cunts.

Altogether now. ‘Shite and you know it, you’re just shite and you know it’.

      • If I get a call and I know it’s a scam, I usually fuck with ‘em.
        I’ve not had a credit card for 20 years, evil things, so I know it’s a scam when I get one.
        I get a lot of ‘there’s been suspicious activity’ bullshit.
        I ask all kinds of questions, hum and har a lot, then tell the fuckers get an honest job and sign off with ‘happy to have wasted yor time’

    • The new scam which is now worldwide are calls from unknown numbers, many coming from Russia.

      You may get a few foreign words spoken to you and then they hang up.

      If you call back to find out what the fuck they wanted, you will be connected to a premium rate number with huge charges.

  6. Blessed are the days when they didn’t know you from Adam. I could travel on public transport, have a bite to eat, pay through the turnstile, buy a programme and still have change from half-a-crown. A mass murderer on his day off could do the same.

    • The guys on the turnstiles at Villa Pk used to let kids in for nothing by letting parents lift them over the top.

      My dad or grandad did it for me many times. A programme for 3d, the smell of tobacco and the sound of rattles in the air, Bovril at half time, getting drenched standing in the open behind the goals…

      I’m retired, I’m a pensioner, I’m sick of paying tax on my private pensions because I worked for a living. Once you hit State Retirement Age, you should be Income Tax exempt.

  8. As a young teenager, I watched United’s games from the scoreboard end, stood on a large ledge in front of a barrier. Ideal to peer over the heads. Even helped a crippled regular who hook his walking stick on the barrier before hauling himself up.

    After the game, it was a rush to get over the bridge towards Warwick Road and get a seat in the United Cafe for something to eat and drink whilst listening to the rest of the football results. By the time you’d done all that and a glance out of the window at the deserted bridge, you would see the lonely old man on his walking stick I’d helped up to stand beside me before kickoff.

  11. At halftimes in the Champions League last night and tonight, I switched over to Sly’s live score panels and each evening there have been 5 men and a lonely woman. Out of pure devilment I’d have given a Champions League game to each of the women, just to see sparks fly in the media. Later, they probably had the run of the mill gang-bang instead.
