I would like to nominate that incompetent cunt Andrew Bailey, the governor of the Bank of England.
Just as I am about to retire and thinking Mrs Wanksock and I have enough money to see out my remaining years, inflation hits. Suddenly any money I have only seems to go half as far and any assets you may have seem to be worth less than you may have thought.

The everyday items, such as the ubiquitous pint of milk, is now about 30%, higher in cost than 18 months ago. Plan A was to downsize on the house and put a bit of money in the bank but we can’t seem to sell it despite 2 price drops.

Anyone who has done just basic economics or even has just a tiny bit of common sense knows that there are time lags between implementing an economic policy and its’ effect. When the government started borrowing money in vast quantities (whilst already running a large deficit) to fund Covid policies then the immediate response from the Bank of England should have been to raise interest rates by at least 2%, any bloody fool could have seen that. Now we have inflation running at over 10% .Andrew’s response is that it is my fault for retiring to early as I am only 69. The man is an absolute cunt. He only had one job, to control inflation and he has failed miserably. If he had any sense of decency it would be a bottle of whisky and a revolver.

    Dish out billions to a population that couldn’t spend it,mothball the economy simultaneously and then pretend it’s Russias fault that inflation runs amok.

    Harvey fucking Price could have told the silly cunts that pent up demand,huge amounts of utterly false liquidity and a global economy at the mercy of the highest bidder once “restrictions” had been lifted would cause immediate and uncontrolled inflation….supply and demand in full effect.

    • The response to Flying Bat AIDS was indeed a catastrophe, but the problems we see today were on the cards long before Covid or Ukraine.
      There has been too much cheap money sloshing around for fucking years – Carney and King were just as much to blame. Just led to too much personal debt (almost £1trillion now), cheap food and house price hyper inflation. It was only ever going to end in tears – I feel for Wanksock, but have to say that we have only just started to cry.

        I wrote the nomination 3 or 4 weeks ago and assumed admin had binned it.
        This bloke leads the Bank of England and it’s Monetary Policy Committee. They listen to leftie, spiky-haired, acne spotted, NHS spec wearing twats who just learnt how to shave who tell them that borrowing money is OK and economic growth will pay for it. In March the country had to find £3.6 billion just for interest. It is completely immoral building up debt for our grandchildren to pay off. Meanwhile our politicians are scared to death of unemployment so practice Mugabe economics to stimulate the economy. All this has happened under both Labour and Conservative governments.

    Bailey’s money printing presses will be in overdrive when China invades Taiwan and causes global recession. Next year is my guess.

Everyone’s inflation who matters is lower than ours, but lets not blame the Asian shopkeeper, the twat chancellor or the 2 morons that preceeded them, its all the bank of Englands fault for not shoving up interest rates higher and faster thus fucking anyone with a mortgage, but there again people could be forced into eating dogshit and you would still hear the same old bollocks, it would be worse under Labour, and I have no personal axe to grind, I’m doing OK,no thanks to the shopkeeper or his lovely ethnic friends, braverman, badenoch, cleverly etc

After years of low prices the bubble has burst, food price inflation hits the poorest the hardest (well I never knew) Not to worry, UC has gone up by 10% (tax free) and there is £900 energy bonus (tax free) and not forgetting the UC card gives automatic access to the Food Bank weekly free shop.

    In the clip, ‘half a million out of the workforce’, yep with made up shit and they will stay there forever as long as J Cunt keeps throwing money at the cunts. The poor fuckers on minimum wage have to pay tax and NI on their uplift, lucky to see 7% out of the 10%.

    The fat banker Bailey was slow to react but today another banker (can’t remember his name) has said ‘people will have to accept being poorer’, well that’s the sort of cutting insight form someone on £190,000, worth every penny 😂

    Don’t give a fuck anymore, our standard of living may be going in the wrong direction but I am still a damn sight better off than my parents ever were, just pissed off that I am still paying tax to pay for scumbags, layabouts and illegal immigrants.

    All Bankers are useless cunts, but our politicians are ten times worse, deliberately making things harder by not making us energy and food secure, still, our CO2 is falling even if prices aren’t 😂

High inflation, high taxation, a farcical Border Force and an even more inept Police Force, bans on petrol/diesel cars to come, bans on sales of non-eco houses to come, new gas boilers to be banned in 2035, new oil boilers to be banned in 2026 (yes, you read that right, “special treatment” if you are a cunt that lives in the countryside!), etc, et fucking cetera.

    That’s officialdom fucking us all over. Since big business has noticed the politicunts can get away with it they are all at it too. One example: last time a barrel of oil was this cheap petrol was £1.25/litre on the forecourt not £1.50!

One does look back on COVID and wonder if the financial panic was worth the fuss – funny how it just seems to have disappeared, almost all of a sudden (though I am not suggesting that a lot of people did not die from it). Banks and other financial institutions, PPE and pharma companies have done very nicely out of it…

    Problem we have now is COVID brought out the woodwork a lot of lazy cunts who, post pandemic want to continue being lazy.

    However, this post is not about that – it’s about the BoE and Andrew Bailcunt.

    The ineptitude of the Truss and Orangutang fuck up, coupled with the incompetence of the BoE beggars belief.

    Rising interest rates appear to have done sweet fanny adams to bring down inflation and we’re currently bottom of the G pile.

    No cunt in government wants to accept that Brexit has a hand in this – more opportunity for Britain being independent they said. Hmmmm, not seen much of that and the irony is we have more illegal rag heads coming here than ever, and now we going to open up the flood gates to Sudan.
