In order to be eligible for EU aid (WTF? Thought we were going to stand on our own two feet) directed at prettifying retail areas to get the moron public back into spending mode, our principled and consistent leaders are insisting that councils wanting some of the lolly to fly EU flags from every mast, pinnacle and councillor’s arse.

It’s not a hoax, cunters. It’s the final rollover-and-beg admission that we are no longer a nation.

  10. We voted to leave in 2016, traitor rats tried everything they could to overturn the decision, and still in 2021 we haven’t left because the greedy bastards want even more then the 39 billion to pay the pensions of parasitic dictators like Von Der Leyen.
    Leave, immediately, with no formal agreement and go to WTO terms.
    But we won’t – the jellyfish will just end up giving away more and more concessions until the point we will be bound by so many rules we may as well not have left at all.

  15. For a number of reasons I voted to remain in the EU at the brexit referendum. However I respected the final result.

    I do not understand how this government can bribe councils into insisting the need to wave the EU flag for government money when we should no longer be be connected to the EU?

    Clearly this is brexit-lite and is is just another example of the double standards and hypocrisy of this awful government

    • Johnson and Gove never wanted to win the referendum. They just wanted to appear to be on the right side of the argument so the Tory Party membership would vote for him as leader after Cameron eventually stepped down.
