I see convicted criminal Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe is back in the news and facing a new trial.

This spy (sorry, aid worker) has now had her ankle tag removed but faces another trial next week on more charges….guess she wishes she’d never gone over there now…aid working….doing some aid work I mean.

Her husband is constantly on the BBC and whining about her harsh treated for just being an aid worker…cough cough

And talking of the BBC, they worship the aid working ground this convict walks on so they are going well over the top. Just because she was convicted in another country does not mean she isn’t guilty, it’s just the Beeb and other piss artists don’t agree with it.

Maybe she is just an aid worker (look, a flying pig) or maybe she’s just an aid working with a good heart, I have no idea but it proves the point, don’t go sticking your nose into other countries business.

      He didn’t feel safe from the fuckers over here either. He used to get regular invitations to return and “work for their cause” because he “had skills they needed”. Not wanting to end up in a car boot with a bag over his head he used to reply very diplomatically along the lines of “I’m not worthy enough for your great cause etc, etc”. This seemed to work and they’d back off for a bit.

      • I’m not sure RTC, but I think there is some evidence she was on BBC business, linked to some anti Iranian broadcasting effort, and she was there to help that in some journalistic capacity.   14. Nope. Don’t agree with this cunting. Granted aid workers can be soppy and naive. But I don’t believe for one minute that Nazanin is a spy and she doesn’t deserve this treatment. I understand her husband doing everything he can to raise awareness and secure her release. I would do the same. It’s the Iranians that deserve the cunting.

  18. I don’t care about her one way or the other although because she should’ve known better I am sick of seeing her face as well as her Walter Softy husband’s.

    One thing does puzzle me is why the BBC keep on referring to her as British Iranian? She was born and bred in Iran and at 42 only had citizenship of this country since 2013! In my book she is an Iranian with a light sprinkle of English!

    I am also not looking forward to her release because as I mentioned I am sick of seeing the pair of them, nevermind the future book deals, film, endless TV interviews and then of course a seat in Parliament will beckon for her, firmly on the left of course.

I knew a few Iranians whilst at Uni who watched in horror as the Ayatollahs took over ; they considered themselves Persians and were bloody decent folk; stood their round in the bar; women wore western clothes and were stunning, very polite if somewhat insular.Culturally, the cities of Bam and Isfahan were, are, amongst the greatest in the world.
    So I refuse to countenance that there aren’t still decent ordinary citizens cowed into toeing the line and praying for the day some sort of humanity returns to Iran. Time was when we would simply mount a Coup and replace the rogue sand-dwellers with a less unpleasant alternative.
    This unfortunate lady has dual UK-Iranian citizenship and was arrested for the ‘crime‘ of visiting her mother there. She has barely seen her young kids since they were born yet alone her husband who is only doing what anyone else in his position would do.
    She is no more a spy than I am and is a pawn in a much wider dispute over money owed by us to them.

    Iran are cunts of the highest order they have an Iranian citizen who happens to have a connection to the UK, if she had no significance why would they lock her up. Maybe the theory of her being a hostage in the hope they will get a few quid out of the UK is correct and maybe the duel citizenship plays into this, the Iranians say she is Iranian, the UK say she is British.

    Whatever the truth I am sick of hearing about it.

    • Being from the country, and having her family there where she had visited many times, I would think she knew more about what goes on and what could happen than most, so naivety? I doubt it. It would always be a risk, even if her intentions were above suspicion, it was up to her and her family to decide if that risk was worth it.
