I recall him saying a few years ago that the reason Nokia had fallen on hard times was that they had no women on their board of directors. I took the time to investigate the Samsung directors and was not surprised to find that they were the least diverse bunch that could be imagined.

My take on it is that Trevor is decrying the culture of tokenism and positive discrimination that has insidiously pervaded modern life. Always seems to be the beacon of common sense and fairness. That’s my take on what he means here.
