Toyah Willcox

Toyah Willcox and Robert Fripp

The videos the pair of them post on YouTube, with him playing his guitar whilst looking off into the distance, I’m convinced the poor old sod has dementia, and her dressing up like a cheerleader at the age of 62, making sure her tits are in view at all times.

She didn’t have any talent in the 80s when she was famous and she certainly doesn’t have any now, so all she can do is show off her fake tits. The shows the pair of them put on at their age make me feel ill.

  1. Whilst she is undoubtedly past her sell by date, Ms Wilcox (still takes cock?), deserves an MBE for raising the public’s spirits, during this shitshow 👍

I showed “er Indoors” one of the videos she did early on last year, she thought they were great fun.
So much so, later that night, she performed a very “entertaining dance to U2’s “Mysterious Ways”, dressed in only a tight vest and tiny pants. Whilst much younger than Toyah, her breasts are natural and firmer”👍
The sight of her chapel hat pegs jigging gave me wood that my kitty-cats could have used as a scratch post😀👍

    So I buck the trend here;
I give them a big thumbs up for injecting a bit of fun into the proceedings👍
Plus they are luvvies and they “need” to perform.

*Given a choice between receiving one of Fripp’s tricked up Les Paul’s it a ride on Toyah, I would take the guitar, every time👍

  2. Can’t go along with this cunting. To say she had/has no talent is wide of the mark.

She added a lot of colour and energy to the pop music scene in the 80s and produced some great music. Her album Anthem is a fantastic new wave record, the track Jungles of Jupiter being particularly excellent. Her single, The Vow, is quite beautiful and demonstrates quite well her vocal style and range. Give it a listen:

Seen her live twice too. Once in the 80s and once in early 2000s (I think). Both excellent shows. She’s also a fairly decent actress, on stage and screen. To have had a pretty successful music career and earned a living through acting as well requires some talent.

The obvious boob job and whacky videos aren’t doing much her her legacy, I grant you that. But Toyah is a bit of a national treasure in my book.

      • Welcome Professor.

Gosh, I’d forgotten about Hazel O’Connor. I can’t remember her big hit now. I have some Cocteau Twins in my collection. I think I bought their album Heaven and Las Vegas because my girlfriend at the time liked them. I just checked and I actually have 2 of their albums, the other one being Four Calendar Cafe. Never play either of them to be honest.

Listening to some Toyah right now. Loving it!

      • You drink your coffee while I sip my tea, oh its getting kind of late now.
I wonder if youll stay now?
Or will you just politely say goodnight?

      • Just looked it up. Eighth Day was a hit – didn’t like that much. Also D-Days was a subsequent single. For me, slightly better but didn’t grab me.

Now that I think about it, HOC was offered the lead in a filum called Breaking Glass and Toyah was pissed at the time because she felt she should have been offered the part. Toyah had been around for a while and had acting experience. HOC was the latest new thing at the time and got the part based on that. A feud ensued as I recall.

Hazels Will you? Was a cracking tune.
        Cocteau Twins?
Pearly dewdrops drops is also brilliant.👍

      • Phil Daniels (jimmy from Quadraphonia) is in Breaking Glass.
        “Oh you cant!
        Youve killed me fackin scooter!
        Fack off!
        Fackin postie cant!
        Me fackin scooter!😀

      • Now they look like the work of Michelangelo.
Back in the day sculpted by Blue Peter.

      • Nicely played, Miserable. When I glanced over HOC’s wiki page, I missed the Will You reference. I remember that song and yeah, I’d say it was pretty good. Some decent sax in it as I recall.

My interest in the Cocteau Twins starts and ends with Iceblink Luck. The rest is all a bit blah for me. I suppose they deserve some credit for pushing the ‘Shoe Gaze’ sound before Shoe Gaze was a thing. Still could never figure out what the singer (Liz something) was on about.

      • So Miserable – you’re a The Bluebells fan then, eh?

Young at Heart was a good song. I can’t think of any of their others.

      • Just played ‘Will you’ back to back, great song, not the most uplifting, but the sax is ace so mustn’t grumble.
‘Hitherto’ By the Cocteau Twins is worth a listen.

      • Fuckin ell six!
        Not seen that before,
Never knew Hazel was happy to let the puppies out to play!👍

      • Professor: Listening to Hitherto right now. She sounds quite a lot like Siouxsie. Music sounds like everything else The Twins did. Not unpleasant by any means, just not grabbing me.

        Going back to Toyah. 🙂

      • If the Banshees are your thing then you should give the album ‘Tinderbox’ a listen, there’s some great, dark songs on there.
“drink the water with jagged glass, eat the cactus with bleeding mouth” (92 degrees).
        People get irritable, lol.

  3. SIrs:

I’m inclined to cut them some slack. They’re bored to tears, just like everybody else.

  4. Fripp was brilliant as a guitarist. But Gilmour was better.
And then there was the great Steve Hackett…

  5. Sorry, this cunting is way off mark.

I wouldn’t mind her lisping all over my cock, had a couple or 12 good wanks watching this, obviously ignoring the half dead looking cunt on the left…
