  3. Ive just watched a recording of his inaugural speech. It always amazes me American speechifying. In a normal speech you are supposed to lead up to the peroration where you may allow yourself some soaring metaphors or imagery..But the big political Speech in America STARTS with the soaring metaphors. In fact Biden exhausted all his metaphors about three quarters of the way through. So it ended with a whimper.
    That’s the one thing I will miss about Trump with all his boasting and bluster. He wasn’t ‘on script’.
