Y’know,I wouldn’t object so strongly to this if I thought that we were actually going to have a full-bore “lock-down” that was going to achieve something tangible…it would be a small sacrifice which I’m sure the Generation who really knew about sacrifice would understand and appreciate….but we’re not,we’re having a lockdown which is designed merely to delay things until the “magic potion” is produced…could be quite a wait. Add in the fact that we know perfectly well if say The Festival of Eid was to fall in this month or some Sooty criminal got offed in America,then “allowances would be made”…unfortunately the very type who are apparently most likely to be affected are the same ones who couldn’t give a shit about the sacrifice that is acknowledged on Rememberance Day.
PS…I’d also assume that the people involved in Rememberance Day would be the very ones capable of acting with the discipline needed to organise a “safe” event.

My solution?
One of two choices.
A proper worldwide lockdown (where everyone is prepped with supplies in advance of an agreed lockdown date. And a lockdown would mean than if you’re outside at any time during the 21 days you get fucking nicked.
Or, we carry on as normal and take our chances.
Both methods save the economy and keeps people in work.
Half arsed ‘lockdowns’ (people wandering about, going to pubs, schools open and fucking protesting about BLM and XR white etc) will mean we’ll be fucking the economy and our way of life until (and if!) the potion is ever discovered. The borders need fucking closing too. Invaders in dinghies being out to in hotels during a fucking ‘lockdown’? Do me a favour!
People haven’t got the patience for a proper lockdown though here. The Joe Dakis will never do it. Nor the younger ones. Funny how homogeneous societies in the East stuck together and had proper lockdowns to get rid of the fucking thing (more or less).
So let’s just carry on as normal and keep the at risk isolated.

I’d be pushing for a worldwide lockdown (agree a date in advance/supplies readied or delivered if need be/DIY covid tests of or each person to take after 3 weeks). No fucker in or out of the country during this period. You might still get a few positives after 3 weeks (maybe up to 5 weeks later in some rare cases) but isolate those from these households in a special quarantine unit until they don’t have it anymore.
If not, fuck it just carry on as normal but keep those most at risk as isolated as possible.
The current methods being applied in the west are a load of bollocks. Does fuck all just keeps the economy fucked and everyone pissed off and on edge.
