Class War (3)

I have been watching and thoroughly enjoying Simon Schama’s 17 episode “A History of Britain”, first broadcast in 2000-2002 and produced in part by our wonderfully impartial BBC.

Although every episode is quite fascinating, and Schama’s conversational style certainly has a gripping quality that pisses all over the tedious history lessons I had back in the day at school, there does appear to be a common thread running though each episode – class conflict!

Kings, queens and emperors have ruled this country over the last 2000 years. Most of them coming from rich and powerful dynasties, and therefore use the instruments of money, influence and obedience through fear to keep the Little People in their place.

All through the centuries the poor have always been poor, have never had a voice, were treated like scum, forced to fight wars with little reward, and were exploited and abused for the sake of social standing and monetary profit by their so-called betters.

Men, women and children suffered horrendous and inhuman treatment during their miserable existence. Moreover, the landowners, the gentry, the politicians and the factory bosses were more concerned about maximising profits rather than worrying about the appalling treatment & living conditions of the lower orders.

But another key aspect of this history lesson in class division, which still exists today, is that 99% of the poor were white!

And as for the British Empire – well that was just a repeat of what was going on in Britain but further away! Travel to India or the West Indies, exploit the poor, force them to work for peanuts, treat them like shit but make sure you make enough profit out of them before they die! And in that scenario 99% of the poor were non-white!

In summary, therefore, it was the poor of all colours that suffered the most under centuries of British monarchical rule, and not just a carefully selected period of time when the rich exploited Africa, the West Indies and India. Which is something modern teaching methods is trying to revise into a far more shameful episode in our history rather than looking at the bigger picture!

White people suffered
Black people suffered

The common factor being that both ethnicities were gut-wrenchingly poor!

And yet this would appear to be pretty low on the list of priorities for the “caring/sharing” Woke Generation, who seem to think poverty, slavery and hardship have always been the exclusive domain of the BAMEs

  1. As it was. As it is. As it always will be.
The poorest in our Country have got nothing from the rich and privileged without struggle and unrest, usually violent, and get lied to and promised the Earth, then when they put down their weapons is is as before. Divide and conquer – the working classes have no voice and are usually too concerned with survival to have one. The rich are terrified of one thing, the poor rising up and removing them – hence Police, Courts etc to keep filth like us in line and intimidation to keep us in line.
Time for a civil war, because the class, wealth and influence system is so entrenched the poor have less opportunity and quality of life than 200 Years ago.
But we are always useful when they need cannon fodder for their silly little wars.
    Time for our own war.

  2. All we fucking hear about is divisions in our society. Divisions about race, religion, gender, sexuality, whatever you fucking want. All these divisions are created and encouraged by the rich and their hangers on. But nobody ever mentions class divisions and there’s a fucking reason for that. While we’re all busy hating each other they are getting clean away with it. They’re the cunts who need hating, need taking down.
    Eat the rich.

    • exactly
all be at the anti-lockdown march in londonistan on staturday 29th august – we’ll show ’em!

  3. That’s the one Freddie – if you are too busy fighting your way forward you never get the chance to look up and see who is really shitting on you.
    Just like they want.

  4. I was very much a believer of class struggle as an 18 year old and embraced Marxist theory, however, the answer is not communism or eating the rich. As a conservative I believe in equanimity, a fair society but not tearing it down.

      • Each to their own but its not an ideology for me unless you mean driving off a cliff under acceleration if we’re all made to have that monkey RNA vaccine.

  5. Morning peeps, top nom; a good old fashioned civil war is what this shithole could do with. Haven’t looked at the news today (gave that up as a bad job months ago) but I’m willing to bet that poor little French scroun – er, migrant who drowned is front and centre?

  6. Unless you choose to opt for the failed ideology of Socialism /Communism, then increased social mobility based on merit is the only way forward.

    • I’d agree Ruff but the thing that’s missing is a far more precise means of wealth redistribution. I’m not talking about Corbyn’s discredited policies that would only stifle enterprise.

It beggars belief that the Tech Giants and their ilk can’t be stiffed for billions they can easily afford and that foreign cunts – invariably from the ruling elite- are allowed to launder all their ill-gotten gains through our property market.

      • They taste like Greggs steeped in white lightning, Miserable. 🤮

Let the hungry eat the homeless and solve two problems at once.

      • Get the poor to eat the rich!
Think that covers all the edible bases! 😁👍
        And vote Fox!

      • What happened to philanthropy? There’s no use redistributing to chavs who’ll spunk it up the wall, but taxes owed by Bezos could do well going straight to new roads, parks, schools, shit that will improve our quality of life.

      • Great point Chunky 👍🏻. Bill Gates and the odd Getty seem to be doing a pretty good job but Im struggling to think of many Brits.

I suppose Andrew Carnegie must inevitably turn out to be a slave trader and all his libraries and other benevolent actions must be trashed.

      • I would certainly approve of f seizing the barely lived-in properties of those mega rich foreign tycoons if it meant them being given to the poor and the homeless.

  7. Politicians celebrities rich cunts woke warriors soy protesters
    They can all
    Fuck Off.
    CUNTS

    • Order that industrial oven Unkle Terry – “Foxes Cuntry Pies”, those well marinated rich people will make a delicious filling! 😁👍
(MNC is very keen to try the first batch!).

  8. I have nothing against the rich, the nobility can fuck right off, if someone gets their arse into gear and makes a success in business then good luck to them, the poor would be in a far better position without the uncontrolled influx from Eastern Europe, businesses would have to put more investment into people if they didn’t have a limitless supply of cheap rubbish from the continent.

Opportunity is their for everyone, OK not everyone is smart enough to be running a company but everyone should be able to make a decent living.

Benefits are a joke, if you weren’t born in the UK and haven’t contributed tax and NI for 5 years then no benefits, nil, none fuck all.

The working class have never had such employment protection, ok zero hours is a cunt but that system wouldn’t last in a environment where Labour wasn’t dirt cheap.

My solution, kick out all EU citizens who are on benefits, kick out all illegals, give priority to training and encouragement to the WASP’s

Make Britain Great Again! (and White!)

    • Might also be a good idea if we ceased relying on China for every fucking thing, from consumer goods to the £££ hundreds of billions of borrowing that comprises a large part of our current £2Trillion and rapidly rising national debt.

  9. The rich man in his castle,
The poor man at his gate,
God made them high and lowly,
    And ordered their estate.

    I know my place.

    • I dont Miles.
Grew up on a council estate without a pot to piss in, but I beleive if you work your nuts off you better your lot.
I want the trappings of a middle class lifestyle even though id never get mistaken for middleclass,
I want a decent car, a nice place in a rural location, money to pay the bills, and im almost there.
I worked like a cunt for it.
      Earned it.
I can hold my head up and say that, but ill never get accepted above being a working class lad ( to be honest I quite like that😁)
And only way id be rich would be a lottery win and my neighbours would hate me anyway (“its Mickey Carroll the lotto lout!!)
But no ones my “better’ just because they have wealth!
      I kneel to no cunt
      Or doff my cap.
      Im the equal of anyone
      (In my mind anyway).

      • You personally may never feel middle class (though you’d be classed as such demographically if you’re a successful businessman), but your children and grandchildren will, assuming they’ve inherited your work ethic and belief in self improvement.

Either way, I doff my top hat to you Miserable for not holding yourself down.

      • Cheers Ruff.👍👍
No point stood around moaning is there?
No one helps you like you help yourself.

      • Better than none, equal to all.
I am a huge fan of “get on with it and graft – it gets results”, and I doff my chavvy Adidas baseball cap to any who do!

      • If its any help MNC, it isn’t always what it looks like its cracked up to be.

I grew up a working class lad in a single parent family. My dad left when I was very young. Only saw the wanker sporadically until I was about 16. He was a bit of a fucking spiv tbh.

I was on free school meals which had a stigma all of its own, even in a state school in the yorkshire town I grew up in.

Realised aged 12 that the only way I was going to get out of the shithole was work fucking hard for the next 6 to 10 years of my life.

Couple of years down the line and progressively better jobs, studied for a degree with OU part time. Paid for it myself and got a 2:1 in a proper fucking subject not advanced fish husbandry or some bollocks like that. Ended up getting an even better job. Have my own house. No flash car. I see them as a liability to be honest. Just drive a Ford – it does the job.

Don’t feel I belong to either worlds if I’m honest. Couple of middle class ladies have seen me as a bit of a novelty. One of them I did actually think we’d end up married but I could see it wouldn’t have worked out. Her Dad was a fucking hooray Henry judgemental cunt. Her Mum was alright.
Her sister was a fucking snarky cow who ended up with some Julian or Hugo type. I believe she did as well in the end. Must be partly why I fucking hate toffs, like that Jamie Laing prick.
I’d probably only have ended up like Dennis Waterman in On the Up.

Friends that I hung around with as a teenager think I’m up my own arse but I didn’t want to live that fucking life. Living in a shithole with no money.

Used to be good when I went abroad though. Couple of females would hear me speak (using the middle class voice, not the ‘reet Yorkshire dialect) and I usually ended up knobbing a couple of them.

I also have a few little investments here and there that bring in some money too.
All legal and above board…unlike that dodgy B&WC 😉

  10. Revolution is always possible, the majority want to be ruled, the majority will do nothing but grumble about their lot in life. There’s no big secret to ruling, give the proles just enough to stop them from rising up.

Poverty and servitude are a choice taken willingly for many in exchange for a big screen TV and a packet of fags.

  11. There is a class war. But it is being fought by the rich and their running dogs in the media.

A poor white man has more in common with a poor black man than a rich white man. And vice fucking versa.

  12. This is the thing with Marx – he was absolutely right about the problem, but unfortunately his solutions were total wank.

  13. Class war really got going in England with the Norman invasion 1066. Before that there was a hierarchy but it was tribal based. The Normans built their castles and lorded it over the Saxons who were treated like serfs. The country was run by the “robber barons” and most of our aristocracy are decended from this line. They stole their lands and imposed draconian laws and taxes. Frankly little has changed in a thousand years.

You can build a business up and make millions but you won’t be accepted into the higher echelons of society which is a closed shop.

  14. We seriously need a revolution in our country.Britain isn’t great no longer. Our political masters please themselves.Send ALL MPs to Unkle Terry’s oven

    • I am doing my best to start a civil war on Twitter and Parler! 😁👍
Expecting being arrested for thoughtcrime any day now..

  15. To prove the point I made above –

My father ran his own company and decided to send me to one of the top public schools. One that produced prime ministers (no not Eton) .

I did well in lessons apart from Latin which I had never studied. I was good at sport, knocked the best bowlers around in cricket. Even bowled out the head boy in a practise match. I never got near the Ist or 2nd XIs. I had the 3rd best time in cross country overall. Didn’t even make my house team. The snobbery was unbelievable. The talk was all about their daddy’s yachts and private planes. I was a day boy and so didn’t do rags in the dorms and all that caper. So maybe I didn’t ‘bond’. But I stood my ground.

My dad took me out after two terms as he couldn’t really afford the fees anyway. Fact is though that despite competing on level terms I never got a look in.
That is how it was and I believe still is. Norman and Saxons.

    • I think I know where you went wrong!
You didn’t grasp the difference between ‘practise’ and ‘practice.’
In state school I’m proud to say, we had it knocked into us.
      😅

      • “I would have thought it would take more than two terms to settle in and make a sufficient impact to be chosen for the school’s top teams, etc.”

Well, not if it was based on ability. All I can say is when I moved to a (very good) state school I got into the teams quickly. If you did well in trials you got selected. And two terms seemed like a long while back then. Think of your own schools, a term was enough time to make a mark. If I had stayed two years at the snob school I still don’t think I’d have been accepted. The Latin master for example was used to pupils who had studied the language in prep school so I was 4 years behind. How do you make that up?

The experience didn’t make me feel inferior just that the dice was loaded.

      • The Lower School headmaster at my grammar school made it perfectly clear that I shouldn’t be there because I had foreign parents that weren’t rich. My mum stopped short of flattening the cunt but she did complain to the overall headmaster of the school.

    • I would have thought it would take more than two terms to settle in and make a sufficient impact to be chosen for the school’s top teams, etc.

  16. That was a great series. Schama knew his shit and it was pre-woke BBC.

I remember those Class War wankers from way back. Had fuck all to actually say, they just loved to cause trouble and gob off. Not unlike those Antifa vermin

    • Ian Bone and Class War. What a load of cunts. Most of their followers were spoiled posh twats too…

  17. Fuck the poor, I’m sick of hearing of the plight of the underclass. I’ve thrown every penny I own, and owe every penny I earn til I’m 70 to buy a modest little house. Yet across the street from me a family of benefits skum has moved in, with their dogs and their 3 cars, all motability, and they spend their day sitting on the doorstep smoking weed and letting their fucking dogs bark at passers by. I haven’t been able to park outside my house for weeks since one of these cunts now thinks it’s his parking space. Why the fuck do they need cars if they’re not working?
The only poor people are working.

  18. Gutstick, I would regard the people you speak of as part of the underclass. They are NOT working class as they have no intention of earning a living. We had one such git next to us. Motability (new) car. Alleged bad back. Went fishing every day. We had parking disputes with him mostly based on the fact that we had to move our (second hand) cars in order to get to WORK. He didn’t have that problem.

You wouldn’t mind if these lazy feckless cunts were pleasant but they have a sense of entitlement and no shame whatsoever.

    • There is a massive distinction between the unemployed, which I have found myself from time to time, and the unemployable, who are a worthless drain on humanity. From the moment spunk hits egg, these untermenchen cost money, and continue to do so until their last breath, and even then the fucking funeral is at taxpayers expense.
A guy I know messaged me last night about his new toy, a £1000 drone. He’s fifty, and never worked a day in his life. How can this be right?

  19. Before antibiotics all peoples lives were painful and short. Even when they were long they were painful. In short it was shit compared to ours The most powerful European monarch Louis 14th only had 14 different dishes to choose from every evening. Today even the “poor” can nip down to a free food bank with a bigger choice.Everyone else has hundreds to choose from.

  20. I hate the rich toffs who live off the Taxpayer, such as CEOs of Capita and other shitcunt contractors, the MPs, lords and BBC cunts, heads of NGOs that get grants.
I also despise the underclass. Feckless wasters leeching and eeking their way through life.

Oven the lot of them. Useless wankers.

  21. The left like to accuse others of whataboutery but always resort to it when you dare talk about the underclass.
‘What about the tax evaders, tory bankers on taxpayer’s money and the House of Lords?’
I hate them as well, genius, but at least they dont stink of piss.
