I marched at the rally on Friday – very peaceful and almost carnival atmosphere— saw quite a few Indian looking faces and a few ( though less) Afro black – ok not many but they were there with us. A few remoaners liningbthe route in odd places some shouting ‘racists’ at us and a couple with signs saying we are racist. That boiled my piss even more than the bias reporting. We really are up against it — as some of you know I have not given up but I must concede that it will be a minor miracle if we get Brexit.
I think WA mark 4 this week will be a real knife edge vote. If the DUP get hooked in then it could go either way by a matter of three or four votes. It likely it will come back in some more rancid form but not 100%. If you get time I would encourage anyone interested to read MARTIN Howe QC’s latest legal opinion he wrote yesterday on WA mark 3. It’s on Lawyers for Brexit or some such site but if you google his name or got to Steve Bakers twitter you will get a link.

An Ofcom spokeswoman today said: “We are assessing the complaints (more than 2,000 so far) against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate.”
My money is on that Ofcom do precisely fuck all. Toothless and ineffective, just like most of the other government appointed consumer watchdogs.

Jon Snow is to be investigated after he remarked he had never seen so many “white people” at a pro-Brexit protest, as Ofcom announced Nigel Farage is to also face a probe over his reaction to the comments.
An Ofcom spokeswoman said of both incidents: “We’re investigating whether comments made by the presenters on these programmes broke our rules on offensive content.”
The broadcasting watchdog received 2,644 complaints about Mr Snow’s report on March 29, which referred to a demonstration in Westminster on the day the UK was scheduled to leave the European Union.
The 71-year-old presenter was signing off from the Channel 4 News bulletin when he said he had “never seen so many white people in one place”.
The media regulator will also investigate remarks made by Nigel Farage in the aftermath of Mr Snow’s on-air comment.
Ofcom said it has received five complaints after Mr Farage said on LBC two days later that Mr Snow “should be attacked without doubt” for his previous remark. Asked by Alastair Campbell, who appeared alongside him on the radio show, why Mr Snow deserved to be attacked, the former UKIP leader said: “Because of his terrible condescending bias, but that’s a separate issue.” Mr Farage later clarified during the same programme that he meant a verbal attack, not a physical one.
The broadcasting watchdog received 5 (yes, not 500, or 5000, just 5) complaints about Mr Farage’s comment.
Thought initially that the cunts at Ofcom would probably sweep the whole thing under the carpet. Perhaps now a slap on the wrist for Jon Snow, and an excuse to take Nigel off air. Seems fair enough. Who knows.
