I would like to nominate “Social Mobility” for a timely cunting.
Social Mobility is the noble concept of bettering one’s self/one’s lot as each generation passes.
In a nation which has prided itself on “all being equal” allegedly since the English Civil War (but the reality being since state funded education – thus allowing the pleb masses the ability to use one’s brain, should one exist), you would think that the notion of “Social Mobility” being a just and noble one.
It is, but only when the folk in question aspire to it!
I am working class, I wear it with a badge of honour, unlike “the city” cunts who avoid any such background like the bubonic plague.
My Grandmother was one of 7 children (and they weren’t even catholics). That’s just the way it was as a lot of children born into the slums of the 1900’s thru 1920’s died at birth or during infancy. Times definitely were hard.
There was no welfare system, no NHS and oftentimes the only meals my Nan and her siblings got was at the soup kitchen.
My Nan and great Aunt (the 2nd born) used to go to school on alternate days because they had to share the same pair of shoes. How very Pythonesque eh.
My Nan left school in Sunderland at 14 and went into service down London – very much in the upstairs/downstairs mold – for a doctor and his wife. He was gentleman and generous – luckily for her, as a lot if the “nobility” (back in the day) would have had her bent over the scullery table as soon as look at her.
During the blitz my great grandmother asked the doctor if my Nan could return home while “the nonsense” was going on. He sent her home and with a £5 note – not that any if my family knew what to do with the cunt, it was far too large a denomination.
She was married at 16 and had 3 kids before she was 20. This was during the war years and as she never saw my grandad from one year to the next (a merchant seaman) she also had to support them by working as a cook 8am-6pm Mon/Sat in a local workingmen’s cafe.
My Mum was intelligent enough to warrant place in grammar school but couldn’t attend due to the financial implications. She left school at 15 and worked all her life in a manual labour job.
My Dad was a miner (like his Dad, grandad, great grandad, etc., before him). He left school at 15. Was a coal face worker by 17 and – by his own admission – was as thick as day old porridge. He worked down the pit for 37.5yrs and loved every minute of it. He hated Scargill and never once voted Labour – of which I am ultimately proud.
So enter me the product of a poor working class background. I was told to “stick in” at school and through some fluke I found it easy – which is just as well as I had fuck all chance of gleaning any algebraic nuggets from the mater and pater that’s for sure!
I was an only child and never wanted for a thing.
I did school, college and Polyversity (when it was free – God bless you Maggie), got myself a decent job and now work for myself (albeit in deepest darkest Lutonistan currently).
I am Social Mobility. Mark Blyth (a Glaswegian orphan brought up in the benefits system) – professor of economics at Brown University in the states, who spoke more sense about Brexit than any other person I listened to – is Social Mobility. We are the epitome of Social Mobility!

My daughter has been applying for Uni places recently and the number of loaded questions trying to figure out if your a piece of Jeremy Kyle shite (to gift them precedence in placings) is sickening.
When I applied to Polytechnic (yes they were places were you went to learn in order to do a fucking job and earn a living) there was no positive discrimination based on your social background – you either had the nouse or you didn’t, end of.
Pushing cunts who’ll be cunts no matter what (from a n-generation of workshy cunts) in name of “Social Mobility” achieves NOTHING. And certainly will not reduce violent crime.

Either way, however you slice it, it’s wrong wrong wrong, and it took off big time during Blair’s tenure (you don’t say! – Ed). When I was growing up (1950s /’60s) the concept of Meritocracy was supposed to be taking over – less who you knew, more what you knew – a common sense policy to ensure we built a strong economy fit to compete in an ever more competitive world environment.
But since we joined the Common Market (1975) the idea of achieving high office via meritocracy seemed to lose traction. It doesn’t even get a look in these days, otherwise cunts like Keir Starmer and Alison Saunders would never have got a sniff at being DPPs. And Cressida Strap-on would never have come within a million years of being Met Commissioner, not without a skip full of PC Positive Discrimination.
In fact, not sure I could point to anyone at the top right now who got where they are today on merit… apart from the Queen, of course, who was always highly qualified to wave and mouth banal platitudes whenever required by the Establishment. Worryingly this sickness now pervades the whole of society.

We are going backwards. Social mobility has practically disappeared. Working class millennials can expect to be less well off and have poorer health and shorter lives than their parents. That is unprecedented in the history of western societies. That just ain’t supposed to happen. It isn’t a fucking accident.
Firstly, the only way up for the vast majority is education. State education today has been a joke for years. It’s all about “understanding “ and “feelings” , appreciation of “religious and cultural diversity” and not upsetting the kids by asking them to be organised, do as they’re told, get to class on time and fucking listen. If you want that shit you send your brat to a private school, you have to pay. Mate of mine lives like a monk, works like a cunt with extra jobs to send his 2 kids to private school. Guess what? He’s a fucking teacher in a state school. Ask him why state education isn’t good enough for his kids. We have been fucked up the arse.
Secondly, the rich today have lost control with all this touchy feely liberal shit. All they see is grabbing as much as they can to shield themselves from the coming storm. If you want more wealth you have to take it from the poor.

I fully agree with many of the points within this cunting, and from experience can say the idle benefit scrounging scum are a real problem. I decided 15 years ago that I wanted a big fuck off house and an Audi, I had a good job which paid well which gave me a great shift pattern, but not quite enough cash. Off to college I went age 30 and enrolled on a 17th edition leccy course for 3 years. During my time at college I came across absolutely rancid bell whackers with no intention of ever working, they regarded the benefits they received as “wages” which were owed to them. Their courses were free ( I paid 2k for mine) and these complete shithouses fucked about and failed……Of course it was not them to blame. Most are still on the rock and roll, never worked ( one bloke was 43 and had never been employed) and had no intention of working. I finished the course, passed, got a second job, earned a load of cash, bought a massive house,got an Audi, the epitome of social mobility…….then gave the fucking lot to my ex wife and ended up in the poor house…the reverse of social mobility. It is for this reason I nominate myself for a cunting.

As for social mobility – since I was 15 I have never been lucky enough to have a job with a travelling distance of less than an hour – sometimes 5 hours – staying in hotels from Sunday to Friday. The yoof of today thinks jobs come and knock on the door asking for you. I look at the jiggers on TV dressed in the latest apparel with brass in pocket but 2 words seem to be missing from their limited vocabulary – Where’s your Dad and where do you work. You don’t need a dad or a job innit blud – know what I mean like?

When I was an apprentice, my journeymen all warned me to avoid marriage, not put property in joint ownership, no joint bank account, try to live in separate homes for as long as possible in order to see true colours, don’t leave your parents to move in with a woman unless she can cook, clean & iron like your mother and that the better looking a woman is that the more trouble and costly they will be.
Sadly, I didn’t manage to tick many of their boxes.
