Firstly when you go on any job search you will find loads of adverts for jobs that don’t actually exist they are “non existent, we are hoping to have a suitable candidate in our portfolio should a client approach us with a job position that needs filling”
Annoyingly they are also allowed to advertise these “non existent” jobs in the pits of misery we refer too as “job centres”. I had the misfortune to “qualify” for “job club” once, a place where you are herded into a classroom and spoken down too by some space cadet.
Our space cadet unfortunately bit off a it more than she could chew after lecturing us on the “wealth” of jobs they had to offer and the fact we were not trying. Unfortunately one of the other chaps on detention with me was the former husband of the local Reeds recruitment agency, he put the space cadet right in here place and explained portfolios of agency’s and the fact that as a good 80% of the jobs offered in the centre did not exist, which is actually rather annoying
Now my second part, I like to believe in internal progression in a business, it encourages staff and gives them hopes and aspirations thinking that one day that they too may get the company car and a decent wage.
And then comes along the Agency with the perfect qualifications, snips the job and you then start to discover that despite being very affable they are totally unprepared, untrained and actually have very little idea what they are supposed to be doing.
A manager is their to get people to do their job, not do it for them but the minimum qualification is that they know what the employee should be doing and steer them in the right direction…………….Not try and do it their way and fuck up the whole system!

Basically its a place for all the would have been 20 years ago dodgy car dealers to work,a place where you can tell lies, make people leave jobs their in and be a generally dishonest count and get paid to do it, now that all the estate agents are tucked(a good thing), these parasites have filled the void….. hopefully solicitors next……dishonest lying cunts

A mate of mine worked through an agency back in the late 90’s, the company they were working at fucked them all off even though they were contracted through the agency on 12 month contracts, they did a class action lawsuit, ended up they all got over £5,000 each about 2 years later. (14 of them),
probably would have been cheaper to keep them on at wages doing nothing and at least the agency didnt get a cut of the compensation

Tell me more,would be interested in any opportunity to earn good money as I never have any success with jobs where I’m paid a pound a day to lick the road clean while being balled at by some arsewhipe tyrant,usually walk out and tell em to stuff it up their arse and commit as much vandalism as possible.Ten years ago I worked for £8.50 ph and there were blokes there doing same through agencies on £10 ph not that much more and they didn’t qualify for hols.pay or sick so it was even steven.So appreciate any advice.Cheers.

I remember in the 90s I was on jsa they sent me to job club.What a load of bollox sitting there listening to king dickhead.Someone said to him “ive got an interview as a trainee bus driver this week” King dickhead “Wow that’s great yeaaah” A job he wouldn’t go within 400 miles of.They took the piss so I took the piss back,About £20 worth of stamps &envelopes every week and made good use of their photo copier all in the pursuit of a career of course.
