There was an interesting piece on RT the other day. This guy called Roger Scruton, who is a prominent right wing philosopher was pushing his new book. In this book he critiques left wing philosophy and political theory for being expressed in such vague, obscure and impenetrable language as to make the theory completely incomprehensible. In so doing the theorists make their theories impossible to argue against because no one can understand it. It also turns the conclusion of the theory into an article of faith; it is not important that you understand the theory just so long as you believe in it’s conclusion. Just like religion. And that, my dear dear friends, is what “intersectional feminist peorty” is.
