Clifford will doubtless lay low hoping he becomes yesterday’s news and is forgotten then perhaps a little charity work ala Profumo and Jonathan Aitkin ect leading to eventual rehab but he has so many enemies in the media that that is unlikely. We await further revelations by the many actresses and celebs who have stories to sell. On the other hand there are doubtless many former clients that are now pissing themselves. Cowell is gay – he paid Max Clifford a retainer to keep the truth out of the papers. All those stage managed “candid” photos of Cowell with “girlfriends” and even a “baby son” is Clifford bullshit (and it’s not even new – Rock Hudson was famously “married” too back in the 1950′s). Cowell is too afraid of his career in America being over if the truth ever came out. I think any attempt to release Clifford sooner than the four years the judge said he must serve before being allowed out on licence would result in a massive public backlash. The same happened when Stuart Hall got a ridiculously small sentence which was subsequently doubled following public anger. Also, there’s the small matter of further claims against Clifford which Plod is apparently investigating. I wouldn’t bank on Clifford getting out early – I think it’s more likely that new charges (and hopefully new convictions and sentences) will follow. But when the paedo cunt is eventually released, how about we send an is-a-cunt.com vigilante squad to welcome him at the prison gates…?
