The French Letters Farce
I just heard that France has been sending letters out to 29 year olds, urging them to have children while they still can.
Apparently, this is because young people are needed for taxes, to keep the country running.
It is also a gateway, into lecturing people about their health.
I know the term Orwellian is overused, but in this instance it feels more like rich people pontificating to the masses.
There are many reasons why the birth rate has declined (China, Japan and the UK are also affected).
Lack of well paying jobs, lack of housing, an uncertain and hostile future, the promotion of toxic ideologies, discrimination, etc.
The reason I didnt have kids was largely financial, but upon further reflection it was more down to being Autistic.
If the French are really concerned about their future, MAYBE they should make the appropriate provisions, instead of adding to people’s problems.

Francis Hodibert.
Mr. Hodibert is a 62 year old HGV driver who, in 2022, took a compulsory eye test that he required to retain his HGV licence.
Unfortunately, he failed part of the test and the DVLA revoked his HGV licence. He subsequently regained it following a test done by a consultant ophthalmologist.
However, poor Mr. Hodibert was so shocked by the loss of his livelihood that it affected his mental health so severely he doesn’t know when, or even if, he will ever be able to work again.
Naturally, he is now suing the original opticians for £200+k.

Compo for migrants who had their phone confiscated, yep, arrive illegally and if your phone is taken to find out who you contacted to get on the rubber ferry then the good old ECHR is coming to your rescue.
The Dutch or Danes (one of them) have a law that any assets over a certain amount (1200 Euro I think) that a migrant owns will be taken to help pay for the cost of putting them in whatever accommodation is allocated.
