Scotch journo Katy Grant (Scottish Daily Mail) was on Steve Wright In The Afternoon!!! yesterday harping on about anonymous bloggers commenting that people were slags and slappers, demanding that all blog posters and commenters should identify themselves. Tell you what Katie, I’m not going to call you a slag or a slapper but you are a Mandelsons arse licking CUNT.
Fido, a couple of years ago I was watching the test match on Sky and they were debating a delivery which should have been out but was not given by the umpire. According to the commentators this was because England hadn’t appealed vociferously enough. I promptly fired off an email to these Ex England internationals and former captains. On the subject of the muted appeals I said, should it matter whether the appeal is forceful or muted? An appeal is just asking the Umpire “how is that” and if the batsman is out when there is an appeal of any kind then the Umpire should give it. Are we condoning Umpires giving the wrong decision if an appeal from the bowler isn’t wholehearted? I’m sure the laws don’t state that a bowler should scream at the top of his voice just to have a chance of the Umpire giving the decision his way.
I nearly choked on my own tongue at the lunch interval when, whilst debating the issue with David Gower and David Lloyd, Ian Botham said “On the subject of the muted appeals, should it matter whether the appeal is forceful or muted? An appeal is just asking the Umpire “how is that” and if the batsman is out when there is an appeal of any kind then the Umpire should give it. I am staggered that Wayne Rooney is not on here – Four years ago it was the saga of his sodding toe, now we’ve got the saga of the fucking tendon.
All he has to do is kick a bloudy ball around a bit of grass and he get’s millions for it. It’s not even interesting.
Come to think of it, let’s nominate FOOTBALL – a game played by cunts for cunts to drool over, funded by rich cunts!
Yeah – football – definitely !!

@Anonymous, Wayne Rooney has been done here (July09) but we’ll do him again ‘cos he’s a cunt.
Football, though? We’ll need a seconder for a whole sport I reckon.
